my grandmother is an only child, so we’ve been talking about what her sister would be named for the fun of it.
my great-grandmother always said if your initials spelled your name you would be rich, so when my grandmother was born she named her [name_f]Patricia[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] T(last name) and has gone by [name_f]Patty[/name_f] her whole life.
I think her sister would be named [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] T(last name) to get the nickname [name_f]Dottie[/name_f].
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] T- “Dottie” is great!
I think I would go with [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] T- “Cat”, or if that’s too similar to [name_f]Patty[/name_f], then maybe [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] T- “Kit / Kitty”.
my grandma thinks [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] would work well with [name_f]Patricia[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], I really like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] personally
I like the idea of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! [name_m]Kit[/name_m] is fun.
I like something like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] “Jet/Jetta” but it doesn’t feel as vintage as Patty… or maybe something like Lettie… so [name_f]Letitia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]? [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] full names don’t really lend themselves to [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] like [name_f]Patty[/name_f] does (Violet, Scarlett).
