[name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] make a great sibling set. My second choice is a toss up between [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. My favorite [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] combos are [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]. At this moment [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f] being my favorite.
Other combos I like -
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
I love all the options, but I ended up with voting [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] as I think she fits the best with [name_f]Violet[/name_f], they go beautifully together.
And of the [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] combinations, my favorite is [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. What a STUNNING combination!
Thanks for the replies so far! So helpful.
I’ve also just realised the typo in the title of this thread - how embarrassing lol.
I’m also quite torn between [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. I went for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] because I think as a bigger sibset [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] just has a cooler feel than [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] which seems a bit more straight laced to me. I also love that [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] both have those strong ‘end of the alphabet’ letters. (The same is also true of [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] being cooler, imo, than [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f])
Regarding [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], whilst it’s lovely if she isn’t your last baby I think I’d save it. I know a family that planned on having 2+ and used [name_f]Thea[/name_f] instead of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] because the second baby was a girl. Lo and behold baby 3 was a boy and they needed to find another boy name they loved (not that they don’t love [name_f]Thea[/name_f], but they had lots of girls options, they just panicked about never having a boy).
I do also love [name_f]Florence[/name_f], but not as much as [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. My favourite combination is [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]!
I was torn between [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], but then the fact [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is in the [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] combos sold me on them! I love both, maybe [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] a little more in this case (but either way would be winning)
It probably is best to save it. We also have many girl names on our list but always seem to come back to the same two-three boy names whenever we’ve discussed them.
We did have [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] on our list but I don’t know if the flow is there? There’d be a lot of L sounds in her full name.

Yeah, there’s a little much L there for me - the [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/x combos work better with [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
I’m not a huge [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] fan as it’s a bit clunky and old ladyish but without the heft of some of your other options. My votes would be [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], or [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is fine to use now as long as there are other boy names you like. You love it now but might not love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] by the time you have a boy.
I definitely prefer [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] to [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and I’ve never been a fan of [name_f]Florence[/name_f] for some reason. [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is okay. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is sweet but also feels a bit old-ladyish to me.
I adore [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], but hate [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. Out of all of your names, I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is my favourite
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
What a gorgeous list!
That’s a tough one about [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]. It’s lovely, but I understand your concern w/using it if you’re set on [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] for a potential third kiddo.
As for the rest of the list-
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]-I like it. It’s cute & comfy sounding. But I like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] a little more. It’s similar, but w/spunk!
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]-My favorite! [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] has the nicest flow in my opinion.
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]-I don’t know that I care for this. It just sounds a little old lady & clunky to me.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]-I really like this, but I feel like I’m saying it wrong. And maybe that’s a common problem? I think Loo-shee-uh is how most people say it. I like ‘Loo-see-uh’. [name_m]How[/name_m] do you say it?
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]-This is kind of cute. It’s a little bland sounding though next to the sweet floral [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I’m not sure why.
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f]-I like it a lot, but like I said; I understand your concern. That’s a toughie!
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
I like your list. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] totally has won my heart though!
I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is the best match for the spunk and energy of [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
Thanks everyone! We’ve narrowed things down a bit despite adding a new contender lol. I’d still like to eliminate either [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] before she arrives because they’re so similar that I don’t think seeing her will help anyway.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Cait[/name_f]/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
I know [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] comes with potential pronunciation issues but we like both the Chee-[name_m]Ah[/name_m] and See-[name_m]Ah[/name_m] pronunciations. I think we’ll shorten it to [name_f]Chi[/name_f] or CiCi to help too.
I love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. That spunky little x gives the name so much charm, and I think it matches so well with the vintage chic feel of [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. My favorite combo is [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], as they are all three names that I love.
