WDYT of [name_f]Xandra[/name_f]?
Pronounced [name_m]ZAN[/name_m]-dra, not EX-an-dra (on some other site there was a huge debate a few years ago, so I thought I’d clarify).
I’m not a big fan, but I think that mostly has to do with the fact that 1. I don’t really like X-names in general, 2. I have known people called [name_m]Xander[/name_m] and [name_f]Sandra[/name_f], neither of whom I really liked, so it doesn’t have a great connotation for me.
And by the way, I understand that in English it would be pronounced [name_m]ZAN[/name_m]-dra, but in many other countries the X would be pronounced as an X…so not EX-andra, but KSAN-dra.
It makes me think of [name_f]Sandra[/name_f] which I’m not fond of, so my first reaction is a bit negative. 
It also makes me think of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], which I adore and would rather see!
