What do you think of the names [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f]? Do you think either of them fit with my favorite name [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]? What combos would you put together for the names?
Combos I have so far:
[name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] would be great choices with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], but [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] aren’t my style. They are really cool names though.
I really like [name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] feels like it needs a longer middle name too, something a bit unusual. [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], something along those lines.
They definitely both fit with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], especially [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]. It’s beautiful.
I also [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Veda[/name_f] but would never ever use it simply because it’s the name of the holy texts in Hinduism. It would be like calling your daughter Torah or Qur’an. [name_m]Just[/name_m] inappropriate, especially if you aren’t from that religion and surrounding culture.
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Veda[/name_f] at all, but I love [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is beautiful, but I like southern.maple’s suggestion of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_m]Both[/name_m] sound lovely with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]! However, you will probably run into more pronounciation with [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], but I do find that one slightly prettier than [name_f]Veda[/name_f].
[name_f]Veda[/name_f] is a pretty name and would go great with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], but I’ve never heard of the name [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] being used for a girl (the only person I know with it is a boy).
[name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are both cute combos.
