My husband and I are TTC, and have been playing around with name ideas…
Really liking some of the names of the Gods…
But also, liking [name]Xavier[/name] [name]Charles[/name], and [name]Logan[/name] [name]James[/name]. Would it be terrible to do that to children?
Could we use [name]Xavier[/name] and [name]Logan[/name] together at all?
Suggestions??
I know of a little [name]Charles[/name] [name]Xavier[/name] to be born soon.
[name]Just[/name] so you know, both [name]Charles[/name] [name]Xavier[/name]/Professor X and [name]James[/name] [name]Logan[/name]/[name]Wolverine[/name] are X-men characters… but the names are great.
We know, that is why we question if it is terrible to do to children. (My husband and I do enjoy X-Men. He suggested the names, and I loved them, then made the connection…)
[name]Bear[/name] in mind that I’m a diehard convention-going nerd and a huge X-Men fan, but I honestly think brothers named [name]Logan[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] would awesome. Not everyone would get it, but those that do would appreciate it.
Oh okay. I just wanted to make sure you knew. But honestly I don’t think it would be too big of a deal. Those who get the connection would probably think it was cool, which I do by the way, and those who don’t get it wouldn’t even know.
I may be borderline obsessed with X-Men (and the fact that [name]Hugh[/name] Jackman is [name]Wolverine[/name] in the movies doesn’t help ;)), but I think that would be really cool. It is not a connection that everyone would make, but I would be thrilled to meet two boys named that!
I and like some others are going to immediately think of XMEN. However, the association isn’t super obvious and its not like a terrible association either.
As for the actual names, yeah I think [name]Xavier[/name] and [name]Logan[/name] do go together.
