A big YAY, adore it.

Yay! As a nn though.

I love it for a nickname (and there are lots of awesome names that can give you the nickname [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]), but I think it’s a bit cutesy and insubstantial for a full name

I agree with @saskhia completely.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it as a full name or nn

I like it as a nickname.

I like it as a nickname but not for a full name.

I think it works as full name!

I think it definitely works as a stand alone. It fits right in with all the other popular nickname sounding names. [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] is sweet and friendly.

I love it as a nickname, but not as a full name

I love it!!

I love this name so much, but can’t use it. DH doesn’t like it. I’ll admit, though, sometimes I worry that it sounds too much like “whinney” as in what a horse does.

I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] it, it used to be one of my favorite names back in [name_f]September[/name_f]
I do prefer it as a nickname for names like [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], Winnet, [name_f]Winsome[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] etc but it could stand on its own

I think it’s lovely. Sweet, vintage and quietly spunky. I think it works as a nickname or a standalone.

I definitely think it works as a full name, partially because I don’t like any of the long forms.

I say “yay”–I have a friend with a daughter named [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] (as a full name) and she wears it well. My first associations with this name were “the Pooh,” but once you meet an actual person with it I think that goes away.

I’m generally not a fan of nickname-y names as the full name, but in this case I prefer just [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] to [name_f]Winifred[/name_f].
