I liked the [name_f]Twila[/name_f] - imagery of twilight and afghans and rocking chairs and sleepy children snuggled in bed listening to bedtime stories - I like how soft it sounds.

[name_f]Oona[/name_f] and [name_f]Una[/name_f] are a little too much ‘ooh’ for me - though saying that an ‘ooh’ sound may be just perfect - as it could be the first thing you say when you meet your little girl for the first time. ([name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t say ‘ooh’ twice or you will sound like a monkey  )

I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Nula[/name_f]! [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] makes me think of lush green gardens, the smell of the forest and earth after it rains, the warmth of a kitchen and the smell of pot roast on a cold winter night and a little girl with [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] cheeks and a sweet smile. [name_f]Nula[/name_f] makes me think of my niece, [name_f]Nuala[/name_f], who is full of light & beauty and spunk & quiet wisdom. [name_f]Nula[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] are are perfect combo!

I voted [name_f]Twila[/name_f] simply because I dislike [name_f]Una[/name_f]/[name_f]Oona[/name_f]. [name_f]Twila[/name_f] is pretty.

Thank you all! I’m a little surprised actually, [name_f]Twila[/name_f] doesn’t typically get a lot of love from my experience.

I love all of these images though, thanks <3

I love [name_f]Una[/name_f] the most of all the middles, but I really like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Nula[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Oona[/name_f] as well, they’re equal to me flow and feel-wise, but [name_f]Una[/name_f] has my heart because of ‘Stardust’ by [name_u]Neil[/name_u] Gaiman.

[name_f]Twila[/name_f] is nice enough, but the others have superior flow. I was also quite surprised to see her get so many votes, I was crushing on [name_f]Twila[/name_f] 3-4 years back and every person I asked about her couldn’t stand her. She feels a little too twee and airy for me next to serious, earthy [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
[name_f]Una[/name_f], [name_f]Oona[/name_f] and [name_f]Nula[/name_f] all have a mysterious feel to me, with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] they all give me the same mystical, powerful vibe. I picture overgrown cottages in the woods, dried plants hanging from the ceiling, various-sized jars of powders and dried flowers and herbal remedies with handwritten labels. Powerful hands digging through soil. A fireplace used for more than just warmth. Fresh bread being torn by calloused hands. The silence and myriad sounds you hear alone in a forest, a sunset glimpsed through the trees. Ferns and moss and trickling water. Fawns, foxes and hares. Ravens, robins and the buzz of dragonflies. [name_f]Heather[/name_f] moors, dark forests and rocky shores. A lighthouse guiding the way to a safe harbour.

Loving [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Twila[/name_f]! I always thought of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] being a prim, proper name, but being paired with [name_f]Twila[/name_f] gives it a more modern and unique twist. Plus, they flow very well together!

I love [name_f]Twila[/name_f]! [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Twila[/name_f] is gorgeous.

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Oona[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Una[/name_f] are my favourites. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is so gentle and earthy and understated, and [name_f]Oona[/name_f] gives her that magical sense of a fleeting glimpse of a fairy, the elusive coo of the will-o’-the-wisp. I usually prefer the most authentic spelling, but now that I think of it I am gravitating more towards [name_f]Oona[/name_f] than [name_f]Una[/name_f] with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]; it has more of that wide-eyed quality.

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Nula[/name_f] doesn’t do much for me; [name_f]Nula[/name_f] is very pretty, but it lacks something that its gorgeous full form [name_f]Fionnuala[/name_f] has. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Twila[/name_f] is intriguing and feels pleasantly twilightish, but [name_f]Twila[/name_f] hasn’t got any of the heritage [name_f]Oona[/name_f] / [name_f]Una[/name_f] has, and feels too much of a contrast with the grounded [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].

So [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Oona[/name_f] gets my vote. It’s a simply breathtaking combo, and my top name for quite a few years, I can’t sing [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]'s praises enough.

[name_f]Twila[/name_f] is my favorite of the middle name options, but I voted for [name_f]Nula[/name_f], because I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Nula[/name_f] just flows/sounds a tiny bit smoother than [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Twila[/name_f].
