You Favorite Made-Up Names!

Hiya! [name_m]Just[/name_m] like the title suggests! What are some of your favorite made up names? They can be names you or someone you know just made up on a whim, or names that were invented by an author or a celebrity.
[name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favorite is [name_f]Tacy[/name_f], from the book series [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]-[name_f]Tacy[/name_f]. It’s a nickname for [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and I think it’s so cute!

my absolute favorite made up name is Eucalypta :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I thought of it myself, although I’m sure someone’s thought of it before me. @MagnoliaE came up with Yishaiyit, which has to be my second favorite!

I actually know someone named [name_f]Tacie[/name_f]! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are Izalie, [name_f]Evolet[/name_f], and I think another berry came up with Everlise which I think is gorgeous. (Also Annevieve which I found on an old grave, so old but still made up)

I’ve noticed that I tend to like a name more if I find out it was originally made up by an author (like recently learning that [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] was invented by [name_m]Walter[/name_m] [name_u]Scott[/name_u] :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:).

I think my favourites though are any smoosh names with -beth. They just always feel like solid names but still sound fresh and exciting. Like the perfect mixture of modern and traditional. Today I’d go with Elvibeth or Maebeth.

Mine is Mavelie! It’s pronounced mav-uh-lee, and I think I came up with it actually (if not, it’s probably really rare). I was watching a baby name Youtube video for background noise while I was working, and the woman said the name [name_f]Mabli[/name_f]. Since I wasn’t really paying attention, I thought she said Mavelie and wrote it down on my baby name list immediately!

I made up the name Auvyn (awe-vin) for a futuristic short story I wrote in the fifth grade, it’s not really my style now but I still love it nostalgically .

I adore [name_f]Esmarie[/name_f], “beloved drop of the sea” is such a beautiful meaning!
