In this hypothetical, you’re allowed to name whoever you want: your own kids, your nieces and nephews, royal babies, celebrity babies, whoever.

BUT. You only can pick one letter, and every name you pick has to start with that letter.

Names with other letters can be used, but you’re not allowed to have any say in them. You’re only able to name people with using your letter.

So all that said, what letter would you pick?

Please also describe your thought process in deciding on that letter, and examples of names you would use!

You are allowed to decide if this includes pet names or not.

I’d pick A, since I have more A names than any other letter

maybe i’d do something like:
Atticus Alexei “Kit”
Ajuna Adwen (uh-yoo-nuh)
Alicja Anais (ah-leets-yuh)

Oooh this is tough, probably M, I like a lot of M names, I couldn’t use [name_f]Azula[/name_f] and [name_u]Kahlo[/name_u] though :sob: but I could use [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] and [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] and [name_u]Marvel[/name_u] and a ton more. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be A

Probably C. I have more C names than any other letter. I wouldn’t do pets because I will probably strictly name my pets after HP characters (we’ve have a [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], and [name_m]Sirius[/name_m] so far).

I love a lot of A, C, E, M, and S names, however I think I would choose S because my favorite names (Sadie and Samuel) begin with S. Also, many of my A, C, E, and M names are very similar to each other, so I would have a wider variety of S names to pick from.

Probably E since I have more names that start with E than any other letters. But then I wouldn’t be able to use [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_m]John[/name_m] or [name_m]William[/name_m] and honours would be way harder.

I wouldn’t use these all together!

Difficult! F is my top letter for girl names, but I like only a few boy names that begin with F. I like the letters L and O for boys, but not as much for girls.

So, the letter that gets the most from both is M. Problem is, while I like a lot of M names, they aren’t among some of my favorites…what a nightmare this would be!

A seems most sensible for me, as I have the most A names for both boys and girls. However, my boys have too many similar sounds to come up with combos. So I’d probably go for P. 1) Quite a few of my favourites start with P and 2) they have different sounds so don’t sound too similar.
