Your best double name combos?!

I met a girl named [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Eve[/name] recently, and pairing two classic names freshened up the names quite a bit! I was wondering what everyones’ favorite double name combination names are? Thanks!

[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jaymes[/name]

I have thought a lot about this – it’s a good way to honor someone while giving the honoree their own name. The trick as far as I can see is one two-syllable name & one one-syllable name. (The below are actual names of people I know, and not necessarily my favorites.)
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Jaime[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]Beth[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Bess[/name]
[name]Nell[/name] [name]Dolly[/name]

I also think it works well mixing a girl’s name & a boy’s for honoring a man via a baby girl:
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Keith[/name] (honoring a grandfather via a baby girl)
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Ryan[/name] (baby girl honoring father, [name]Ryan[/name])

I live in the south, so double names are VERY common around here.
Here are some names of little girls I know:
[name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]Ellyn[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Laura[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Macy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

[name]Verity[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] … cosmic truth! [name]Love[/name] it.

[name]Verity[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] … cosmic truth! [name]Love[/name] it.

[name]Hannah[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Ada[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Ana[/name] [name]Maria[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Agnes[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Betty[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Marie[/name] [name]Estelle[/name]

Someone on hear was tossing around the idea of [name]Anna[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] a while ago. I’m normally not that fond of double names, but I love that one; [name]Anna[/name] [name]Bee[/name] would be a sweet and easy nickname, and I think it’s the perfect paring of one simple, classic, unobtrusive name, and one stand-out vintage beauty.

[name]Auburn[/name]

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Anne[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Mae[/name]

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] nn [name]Anna[/name] [name]Bee[/name] is adorable. I really like the idea of using two separate names and a nickname from one of them like that.

[name]Emma[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] nn [name]Emma[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Anne[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] nn Annabeth
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Theresa[/name] nn [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Tess[/name]
[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] nn [name]Willa[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]Claire[/name] nn [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Claire[/name]

I’m not a huge fan of double names, but here are some that I like:

[name]Mary[/name] [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Frances[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Adele[/name]

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Emma[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]May[/name]
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

also live in the south and the trend now seems to do a feminine frilly name wth a masculine family name:

I know of an [name]Anne[/name] [name]Ryan[/name] and an [name]Anne[/name] [name]Clayton[/name]

[name]Mary[/name] [name]Harriet[/name]. So classic cool.

Maybe:
[name]Maria[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Sara[/name] [name]Monique[/name]
[name]Aubree[/name] [name]Skye[/name]
Scottlynn [name]McKenzie[/name]
and [name]Rayna[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]

By the way Scottlynn is a made-up name
so is [name]Rayna[/name] it comes from the name La [name]Reina[/name]

I know 2 girls with double names and I love them both! I know an [name]Emma[/name] [name]Kate[/name] and a [name]Mary[/name] [name]Kate[/name].
