I’m expecting a boy and have started picking names (plus future siblings as well)- any suggestions for fn and mn would be welcomed as well as opinions on a potential sibling set! I’de love to have 4 kids total! Thank you!
My daughter’s name is:
[name]Zoey[/name] [name]Elisheva[/name] [name]Kahan[/name]
[name]Asher[/name]: Very handsome, works with [name]Zoey[/name] though it’s a bit more serious. But if he goes by [name]Ash[/name] this one could really work.
[name]Milo[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Milo[/name], but I’m not sure it works with [name]Zoey[/name] (too many “o” sounds?)
[name]Levi[/name]: I’m not a [name]Levi[/name] fan for some reason
[name]Jake[/name]: Really cute with [name]Zoey[/name]! Has the same spunky-casual feel.
[name]Dashiell[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Dashiell[/name]! Not sure it’s the best match with [name]Zoey[/name] though.
Of your boys my picks would be [name]Asher[/name] (nn [name]Ash[/name]) or [name]Jake[/name].
[name]Shoshana[/name]: If you choose [name]Asher[/name] I’d say [name]Shoshana[/name] is out. I do love the name, but it feels very different next to [name]Zoey[/name].
[name]Harper[/name]: I think it works with [name]Zoey[/name]. [name]Harper[/name] is definitely feminine to me. But again, if you choose [name]Asher[/name] I think [name]Harper[/name] would be out. [name]Zoey[/name], [name]Jake[/name], and [name]Harper[/name] might work…
[name]Edison[/name]: [name]Don[/name]'t like this on a girl at all (sorry!). I think the nn [name]Eddy[/name] could work for a girl, but I would use a different first name. Maybe [name]Edith[/name]?
[name]Tallulah[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Tallulah[/name] with [name]Zoey[/name]! They’re quite different but they work.
[name]Matilda[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Matilda[/name], but not with [name]Zoey[/name]. [name]Zoey[/name] is very fresh and modern while [name]Matilda[/name] is sweet and old-fashioned.
Of your girls, my picks would be [name]Harper[/name] or [name]Tallulah[/name]. My favorite sibset is [name]Zoey[/name], [name]Jake[/name], and [name]Tallulah[/name]. I love the energy of all three.
[name]Hi[/name]! My favorites with [name]Zoey[/name] are [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Jake[/name]. (You may also like [name]Jack[/name].) I listed boys’ names on your other thread, but some more girls’ names you may like with [name]Zoey[/name] and Kahn:
[name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Annabel/name
[name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]
[name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name] (very popular, but I can see [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name] as sisters)
[name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Asher[/name] (nn [name]Ash[/name]) - [name]Love[/name] [name]Asher[/name] but love [name]Dashiell[/name] more!
[name]Milo[/name] - [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Milo[/name]… I love but I’d feel trapped into an O pattern.
[name]Levi[/name] - [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Levi[/name]… I think they’re fab together!
[name]Jake[/name] (family name) - [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Jake[/name] - they ARE very nice together, but [name]Jake[/name] seems too normal with [name]Zoey[/name]. But [name]Jake[/name] is a really great name.
[name]Dashiell[/name] (nn [name]Dash[/name]) - I think [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] is fantastic
3. Other girl names for future siblings:
[name]Shoshana[/name] (nn Shoshi) - I don’t like this that much, but really not with [name]Zoey[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Roxana[/name]? I love [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Roxy[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] - Can definitely see this
[name]Edison[/name] (nn [name]Eddy[/name]) - I like [name]Edison[/name] but not on a girl, especially not with the feminine [name]Zoey[/name].
[name]Tallulah[/name] - [name]Love[/name] so much, this is amazing with [name]Zoey[/name].
[name]Matilda[/name] (nn [name]Tillie[/name])- [name]Love[/name] this, but not so much with [name]Zoey[/name], though I can see it working.
I thought you’d like [name]Zeke[/name], but I forgot it starts with Z, darn! I still love it with [name]Zoey[/name], though. [name]Ezekiel[/name]. Or maybe [name]Eli[/name]? I went to school with an [name]Eleazar[/name] nn [name]Eli[/name], I always thought that was cool.
I can see [name]Zoey[/name] with:
[name]Sofia[/name] (I like the more unusual spelling with [name]Zoey[/name])
[name]Emily[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Luna[/name]
[name]Dinah[/name]
[name]Viola[/name]/[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Margo[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name]
[name]Fable[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Nixie[/name]
[name]Leila[/name]
[name]Lilah[/name]
[name]Lola[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name]
[name]Griffin[/name]
[name]Lincoln[/name] nn [name]Link[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Otis[/name]
[name]Baxley[/name]
[name]Murphy[/name]
[name]Dexter[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] nn [name]Dex[/name]
[name]Rex[/name]
[name]Roscoe[/name]
[name]Xavier[/name]
I wouldnt do [name]Edison[/name] for a girl. Its a very masculine name and [name]Eddy[/name] isnt the most appealing nicknames… But thats just me (I have a male dog named [name]Edison[/name]…).
Out of your options dashiell is my favorite! [name]Zoey[/name] and [name]Dash[/name]- such a cute combo!
