[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
While this lovely little name doesn’t work in my accent, I think [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is so charming and bright sounding! I can definitely see a cheerful little girl who loves tea parties and wildflowers.
[name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]
I have [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] on my list as a middle name, but I would totally use it if I were brave enough! I absolutely love the meaning “son of consolation,” and the bouncy, happy sound of it!
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - I love seeing this on your list! I think that out of all the [name_f]El[/name_f]- names out there, [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] deserves some love. I enjoy the -en ending; it’s a gentle sound yet has subtle strength.
[name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] - I’d be delighted to meet a young [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m]. It makes me think of the [name_m]Wright[/name_m] brothers (Wilbur and Orville), which is a great connection for me as an aviation geek.
Aww, she is one of my favourites too! She reminds me of giggling on sunny days while having a picnic. Such a spunky and cheerful name! Also, how an olive branch symbolises peace is very sweet. I love the versitality - an [name_f]Olive[/name_f] can be [name_f]Liv[/name_f], Livsy, [name_m]Ollie[/name_m], but just [name_f]Olive[/name_f] works perfectly too. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite book series when I was little had a main character with this name; that’s where I first heard her!
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is a classic: who doesn’t love him?! [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] has the perfect balance of traditional and playful, especially with the sweet nicknames [name_m]Benji[/name_m], [name_m]Ben[/name_m] or [name_m]Jem[/name_m]. He travels very well across multiple languages and never feels out of style!
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - I feel like this is one of those names that feels so standard yet everyone seems to forget about it. I really like how it feels so cool and contemporary, but at the same time elegant and smart. I’d be very pleasantly surprised to meet a baby [name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
[name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] - This was kind of a tough choice since they all have a similar clunky but cute appeal, but I feel like [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] balances out the two factors the best. It’s just one of those names you get a warm, happy feeling from
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]- I love how fun, feisty, and energetic [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is! Packed full of vintage charm and sunny, joyful personality.
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]- [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] just comes across as warm, familiar, and cosy. It’s substantial, but has a soft sound and a quiet intelligence and curiosity.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] → musical and lovely with a cool sharpness to it, with plenty of elegance and vintage charm. It’s been such a long time favourite of mine that I couldn’t imagine not choosing it
[name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] → bubbly with a hint of poshness and playfulness, I love saying it and the nicknames [name_f]Bee[/name_f] and [name_m]Bo[/name_m]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - So sweet and so charming, I love this name!
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - A long time favorite <3
So hard to choose so here are some more of my favorites that I almost picked: [name_f]Clover[/name_f], [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m], and [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m]
[name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] list! I’m choosing [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. [name_f]Clover[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] are my second favourites. I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is so elegant, regal and just pure gorgeousness and Lottie/ [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] is the cutest nickname. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is one of my favourite boy names. It’s strong and royal, but at the same time warm, sweet and kinda autumnal. A perfect name
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your girls list is Clover!! She’s so sweet and springy, and is a very underused nature name!! I love the luck connection, overall just so sweet!!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your boys list was tough, but it has to be [name_m]Ernest[/name_m] (second place [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] and Arthur!!). Such a handsome, underused name, and I love how much he sounds like earnest!!
From the girls list I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
She was a name I loved for my own daughter but my family put me off. Still I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] she’s just so elegant, sweet and has a pretty bohemian flair. She’s just such a [name_f]Christmas[/name_f] fairy name.
For a boy I would go with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
Honestly [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] does come in jointly with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] however because [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is already in use within my social circle I went with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. He’s such a lovely name that has a cuddly teddy bear feel with a range of sweet nicknames including the adorable [name_m]Teddy[/name_m].
