I have been playing around with [name]Mira[/name]/[name]Mara[/name] names lately and would like your personal opinions on the following list. Which do you love? Which do you hate? What can you see on a little girl, or what can you only see on a 87 year old? What is too weird for you? What is too boring? [name]Do[/name] you have any other suggestions?

[name]Marya[/name]-pronounced [name]MAR[/name]-yuh and meaning “pure, brightly white”
Maiara- MY-[name]AH[/name]-[name]Ra[/name] meaning “wise”
[name]Maria[/name]
[name]Mairwen[/name]

and which name do you think go best with sister [name]Valerie[/name] and twin sister Aneve (pronounced [name]AH[/name]-nuh-vay)

Samara/Samira- okay, feels very exotic but it’s pretty, I like Samira better than Samara
Amara/Amira - I’ve known one Amara who was quite bratty so I have a bad connection, but it’s an okay name. I prefer Amara to Amira
Maera- I’d prefer Moira (MOY-ruh) or Maura (MAR-uh)
Mariamne/Miriamne- this one is too weird for me
Marya-I know a woman who spells this Marja, it’s a pretty name
Maiara- different, it’s okay, too many vowels for my taste
Mairwen - too weird
Miriam -nice old name, not a favorite but it’s okay
Mira/Mara - I like Mira better than Mara
Mirren/Maren - Maren (MAHR-en) is a solid name Mirren looks too much like Mirror to me
Mirrian/Miriain - both of these are a bit too busy for me.

I think Samira would go great with Aneve
