[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are:

Gló → bright, glowy and beautiful - it’s a word I like and it’s just so light and lovely

[name_f]Tomine[/name_f] was a close choice - distinctive and lovely - and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] is also gorgeous

[name_m]Benaiah[/name_m] → warm and friendly but with a plenty of brightness and spark

I also love Foss - such a cool meaning and sound - and [name_m]Reef[/name_m] - breezy and cool

[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] – A name full of personality to me; strong, warm, sassy and distinguished. It’s really gorgeous!

[name_m]Reef[/name_m] – It sounds so cool, unique but also familiar which I really like!

[name_f]Tiferet[/name_f] - I have actually never heard of this name before, but it intrigued me. It has a soft sound and I like how the “Tif” at the beginning echoes [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f], and the ending “et” fits in well with current favourites like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - which makes it feel familiar even though it’s completely unfamiliar to me!

[name_m]Shaul[/name_m] - again, another one I haven’t heard of, but it is instantly recognisable thanks to its connection to [name_m]Saul[/name_m]. I think it has a lovely sound.

[name_f]Saffron[/name_f]- It’s bright and colourful, but in a strong, rich, deep way. There’s a down to earth, calm, sensible feel about it with an underlying passion and fire.

[name_m]Reef[/name_m]- It has such a lovely image, and I’m a sucker for a short, but sweet, boyish nature name. It’s all crisp clear blues and exciting adventures.

[name_f]Saffron[/name_f], of course! this is one of my top girls names! I love the imagery and sounds, and plus it is one of the colors of [name_f]India[/name_f], so extra meaning for me!

[name_m]Reef[/name_m]! I like the short sounds and nature theme.

So hard- your girls list is lovely! I think I will choose Gló. I like her short length as she feels simple, sleek, and bright, and the spelling just looks really appealing to me. Chodesh was a close second as again, I find the look and sound really intriguing!

[name_m]Shaul[/name_m] is my pick for boys. He’s so under-rated and I think he’s a handsome, lovable name with a smooth sound.

Gló and Brialdur :sunny: Gló because Gloria is one of my favourite names ever (my little sister’s name), and Glo is her nickname. Gló feels glowy, full of love and light. :pray:t2::sparkles:
Brialdur is a new name for me and it sounds so epic, ancient and cool! I love it! Is Brialdur a version of Gabriel?

[name_f]Mehetabel[/name_f] :musical_score: ~ There cannot be any better meaning for a name in the whole world than “God makes happy”–what a beautiful sentiment! I’m also a sucker for names ending in “bel” and obscure Bible names.

[name_m]Benaiah[/name_m] :thread: ~ I’m always looking for less common ways to get to [name_m]Benny[/name_m], and [name_m]Benaiah[/name_m] is a great option! [name_f]Unique[/name_f] and individual, but easy to pronounce and doesn’t feel out of place amongst today’s Issacs, Isaiahs, Malachais, Zebedees, Ashers, etc.

Oh, I didn’t know that. What an adorable choice for a dog :sparkles:

Yes :slightly_smiling_face: It’s derived from [name_m]Gabrial[/name_m], the Faroese form of [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
