[name]Edison[/name] sounds unique, but not at all strange. Refreshing.
I like [name]Edison[/name]. [name]Lincoln[/name] is a smooth second.
Edited for privacy.
I like [name]Lincoln[/name] the best by far, followed by [name]Edison[/name].
I just like [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Edison[/name] would be second and [name]Noam[/name] a very distant third.
I picked [name]Lincoln[/name], a very elegant name with a cool nn - [name]Link[/name].
[name]Lincoln[/name] got my vote, but I really like them all.
[name]Lincoln[/name] - it’s just so fun to say, and I love the association to [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name]. The nns [name]Linc[/name] and [name]Cole[/name] are pretty fun, too.
[name]Edison[/name] - this would have gotten my second vote, I think. I really love it as a modern take on [name]Edward[/name] or [name]Edwin[/name] or even [name]Edmund[/name] (which is very in-style now, as well). I think [name]Teddy[/name] or [name]Ned[/name] would be adorable for nicknames. I like the connection to [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Edison[/name], as well.
[name]Noam[/name] - this would have gotten my last vote, but it’s only because I’m not crazy about the more Hebrew [name]Noam[/name] right now–if it would have been [name]Noah[/name], it would have gotten my vote. I feel hypocritical saying that, haha, because I absolutely adore [name]Noam[/name] on most days, as much as I love [name]Noah[/name], if not more, and if someone tried to suggest [name]Noah[/name] to me when I asked about [name]Noam[/name], I would probably get a bit upset, because it’s [name]Noam[/name] I loved atm, not [name]Noah[/name], but much as I’ve loved [name]Noam[/name] in the past, right now I just like the more streamlined, popular [name]Noah[/name] more. Tomorrow, though, I might be back to loving [name]Noam[/name].
Good luck!
[name]Lincoln[/name] is a handsome name modern yet vintage, classy with a great nn.
I chose [name]Lincoln[/name] but it isn’t overly popular, it’s handsome and I just love the nickname [name]Linc[/name].
[name]Edison[/name] would have got my second vote, but not keen on the nickname [name]Eddie[/name], would use [name]Sonny[/name] ahead of [name]Ed[/name]/[name]Eddy[/name].
I voted for [name]Lincoln[/name]. I liked all 3 of the names but preferred [name]Lincoln[/name]'s natural “[name]Link[/name]” nn over the others.
I chose [name]Lincoln[/name]. I like everything about it–the sound, the [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name] association, the nickname [name]Link[/name], the “not-too-popular-ness” of it…
I almost chose [name]Noam[/name], because it’s unusual and because I’m a sucker for boys’ names ending in -am or -om ([name]Jotham[/name], [name]Ransom[/name]). When I said it aloud, though, I thought, “He’ll probably be mistaken for a [name]Noah[/name] every time he introduces himself.” That might not be as much of an issue as I think, but…I went with [name]Lincoln[/name].
I like [name]Edison[/name], too, but I’m a little tired of the -son names right now. With [name]Madison[/name] and [name]Addison[/name] going to the girls, who knows but that [name]Edison[/name] might, too? (I hope not!)
Best wishes!
1 [name]Lincoln[/name] - A wonderful Presidential namesake and a place name too ([name]Lincoln[/name], Nebraska)
2 [name]Edison[/name] - Another distinguished name
3 [name]Noam[/name] - this name always reminds me of a garden gnome!
[name]Noam[/name] is pronounced the 2 syllable way. No-um.
