[name_f]Cecile[/name_f] for me, but it’s a great list! I also really like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and Penelope. They all fit super well with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u], too.
That was an incredibly tough choice! I voted for [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], but I absolutely love [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] with your daughter’s names as well.
So many of these are gorgeous.
I felt like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] had the best flow if I had to choose but I also love…
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
Such a tough choice because most of these go very well with your older daughters’ names. But I voted [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] in the end because 1) it perfectly matches the vibe of [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_u]Florence[/name_u] but 2) still sounds totally distinct from them.
Oh this is tough because you have to many beautiful choices!
I went with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] in the end as I love it with your girls and it’s one of my favourite names.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] are gorgeous too
such a tough choice, your list is so wonderful!! I ended up voting for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] because I think it goes perfectly with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & Florence!! however, [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] are also lovely and go nicely with your other daughters names!!
I like keeping with the 2 syllable name & from your list, I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] goes best, but I don’t like that it ends with a T like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] does (even though Margot’s is silent). So [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] would be my next pick!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Great list! Here are my favorite to least favorite rankings:
Beatrix-I love this name so much. It’s my dog’s mn! It’s old fashioned & spunky & feminine but not frilly. It’s smart & romantic. It’s well known but not over done. And it fits beautifully w/the style of [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & Florence. Plus, it has a ton of cute nn options like [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Bess[/name_f], [name_f]Bette[/name_f] & Trixie.
Penelope-This really has a lot of the same qualities as [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], to be honest. It’s a lot more common though. At least in my area. I love the nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], but [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Polly[/name_f] & [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] are also cute.
Amelie-I think it’s beautiful & feminine & just the right amount of exotic. It’s smart & bold, but feels soft too. The only thing is that it doesn’t have a ton of nn options, but not a huge deal.
Tessa-I like this a lot. You don’t hear it much, but it’s sporty & girly at the same time. Simple & kind & smart. And I love [name_f]Tess[/name_f] as well.
Cecily-I don’t love the lack of nns here either, but it’s a cute name. Has a cheerful flavor, but feels slightly bookish at the same time. In a good way! It’s super unique in my area, but doesn’t feel too out there.
Elsie-I just love it, but it’s way too nick-namey on its own. I like it as a nn for [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or Elsa.
Imogen-This is one of those names that I like in theory more than the actual sound. But it’s smart & interesting & has great nns built in. I love Idgie! [name_f]Imee[/name_f], [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] & [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] are also adorable.
Matilda-I don’t dislike it, but it’s just not my personal favorite. Maybe I see it too much on these boards. It feels a little bit clunky to me. I quite like [name_f]Millie[/name_f] though as a nn.
Margot-Same as above. I see it way too often on these boards, so it’s just not interesting anymore. And it’s a bit nick-name-less.
Emmeline-I don’t dislike this name either. It has a pleasant sound, but I really don’t care for Emmy. And ‘Em’ names are just so popular.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] or Cecily!
Cecily!
I voted for Cecily!
Such a tough choice as I love [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and Beatrix. I also really like [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and Cecily. But to me, the first four I mentioned go just perfectly with your daughter’s names. I voted for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] but really, it could have been [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] in a different moment. [name_f]My[/name_f] daughter is [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] so I’m certainly an advocate for it!
Tough choice! I went with [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but I also love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], and Penelope.
I love most of these, but with your others, [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
You have a great list!
Without knowing your surname, my favourite with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] is Margot. I also love [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and Matilda.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and Matilda.
I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] makes the set feel very warm and cozy, like hot chocolate and wool blankets, while [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] feel a little livelier, elegant and sharp, playful and light.
Our surname begins with a C, one syllable. I’ve said each name out loud and I’d say they all work.
I love [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u].
