Your favourite girls names?

So what are your favourite girls names? You can put as many as you like or just one if you want. Also, post as many times as you want, becaus eI know personally my favourites sometimes change each day!

There is really only one name that I have loved for a while now:
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

[name]Grace[/name] has a special meaning for me, and I just adore [name]VIolet[/name]. Im, on a search for a name I love just as much as [name]Violet[/name], but so far nothing has come along! The only thing that worries me is [name]Violet[/name]s growing popularity!

So, what are your favourites?

My absoloute favourite name is [name]Piper[/name], I have loved it for years. Other favourites are [name]Felicity[/name] (“Flit”), [name]Astrid[/name] and [name]Viola[/name].

My top 4 rarely change. They are:
[name]Amy[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], and [name]Francesca[/name].

Other recent favorites include:
[name]Lucia[/name] (loo-see-uh)

I think my top four are:

[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] “[name]Maggie[/name]”
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name]

My top ten at the moment:

[name]Rose[/name] (as a first name)
[name]Susannah[/name] (nn [name]Annie[/name])

Great topic!

Take care!

I have a [name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. Other names I considered during the pregnancies:

Fun  Right now:

Some of my current favourites are:

I could go on forever!

My favorites right now are:

[name]Analie[/name] ([name]Anna[/name] - lee)
[name]Celie[/name] (See- lee)

I am also beggining to like [name]Genevieve[/name], but I also found a shortened version of [name]Genevieve[/name] - [name]Genevie[/name]. There are a few things I worry about, though. 1st, will it be commonly mistaken for [name]Genevieve[/name]? 2nd, does it even sound real? Is it as pretty?

Can’t sort them.

[name]Roxanne[/name] - Never a “bad girl” name to me, but impossibly beautiful. The first time I ever tried to rank names I liked, this was #1. Still is.
Since I also love
I guess I like Persian names more than anything.

[name]Juliet[/name] (in this case, prefer English version)
Hate [name]Charlotte[/name], which seems to be so popular on here.

[name]Oksana[/name] - Not as beautiful as the Persian original, but almost. Almost.

[name]Deanna[/name] (in this case, prefer this variant to the actual Greek form)
particularly E-ending:

The flowers - unfortunately, the same ones everyone likes:
[name]Lily[/name] (and not [name]Lilian[/name])

Guilty pleasures (you could guess):

No, I don’t like any of these names because of the stars with them. Why does the current generation have to have so much cooler names than any previous one?
[name]Angelina[/name] (though prefer [name]Angelica[/name])

Short a-ending, the sort favored for comic heroines and aliens

Last names as first names:

[name]Emily[/name] - I feel like I should be ashamed for liking these, but they’re so sweet nobody can resist them.
[name]Lois[/name] - Maybe surprising, as I don’t like anything else I associate with it. Actually, that’s part of why I like it: I don’t associate any other name with it.
[name]Yancy[/name] - don’t like on a boy, charming on a girl

The 80s bunch, which I don’t consider dated, not my top names but likable:

Unusual names encountered recently. Because I now value odd for its own sake, I can’t be sure if I actually like these enough to warrant places:
Coventry (only heard of for male, but you know this would be a girl’s name now)
Ayliffe - Is it wrong to like a name I only saw once in a birth announcement?
Blakesley - Or a starbaby name? I’ve heard [name]Blakeley[/name] more than once, but don’t like it as much.

Old favorites I don’t like as much anymore, but retain some appeal:

[name]Don[/name]'t know why I ever liked - but don’t hate, unlike so many:

Got a few on my shortlist right now and could do with your comments actually?!

Already have boy n girl:
[name]Harrison[/name] leo and [name]Apolline[/name] madison

[name]Capucine[/name] (ka-pew-seen)
[name]Ameline[/name] with accent on first e ( A-mae-lin)
Maidlin/ Maidlyne
[name]Arabelle[/name]/ [name]Arabella[/name]
Aimeline (em-lin)
Elisabelle/Elisabella nn [name]Eliza[/name]

For second/third names

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Emily[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name]

My favorite for some while now has been [name]Eve[/name]. Sadly, now that I’m pregnant I’m so tired of the whole [name]Ava[/name]/[name]Eve[/name] trend that it’s sort of ruined it for me. Another name I’m really into right now is [name]Willa[/name]. I just love it. Unfortunately, the husband does not share my love.

I actually have a top four!!

The ones I constantly love are:
[name]Evelyn[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name]
[name]Lily[/name] (and [name]Lilianne[/name], [name]Lilianna[/name]/[name]Lilliana[/name], [name]Lillian[/name])

Ones that I also love right now that may or may not stick around:
[name]Mirabel[/name], [name]Mirabella[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Rosabelle[/name]

[name]Victoria[/name] (I hate [name]Vicky[/name])

my favorites are
[name]Nichelle[/name] (my middle name)
