The only way I’ve heard of is [name]Margaret[/name].
I have heard of Maisies standing on their own, but I think it’s a nickname-y name. I would prefer having a more formal full name.
My favorite spelling is [name]Maisie[/name].
[name]One[/name] of my friend has a name “Maisewanel” and we all say [name]Maisy[/name] to call him. [name]Maisy[/name] is enough name to work and to choose for anyone.
Mazarine is the first one I can think of, but I don’t like [name]Maisy[/name] myself. I would probably call her Mazzy or [name]Siri[/name] or [name]Min[/name].
[name]Marcella[/name]/[name]Marceline[/name], Marzanna, [name]Massima[/name], [name]Melisande[/name], [name]Melusine[/name], Marsaili, Messina/Messalina, [name]Mimosa[/name], Minzica, Mnemosyne and Musidora could also work, but it seems a bit silly to name your little girl Mnemosyne only to call her [name]Maisy[/name].
I would never use her on her own, she’s a little to cute and nicknamey for me. I like the simple [name]Maisy[/name]/[name]Maisie[/name] most.
I really like it as a nickname for [name]Mae[/name]. I prefer it spelled either [name]Maisie[/name] or [name]Maizie[/name] (I don’t know why as I usually hate “trendy” spellings). I have run into a girl with the full name of [name]Maisie[/name] and while it was cute on a little girl, I just don’t think it’s substantial enough for a grown woman.
My friend named her daughter [name]Maisie[/name], straight up. It’s very cute. She was named for a grandma [name]May[/name], whose nn was [name]Maisie[/name].
