[name_f]My[/name_f] kids have always called me [name_f]Mama[/name_f]. They call me Mommy sometimes too but mostly [name_f]Mama[/name_f].
I thought this was just normal or kind of a southern thing since my dad called his mom [name_f]Mama[/name_f] until the day she died. I figured kids grow out of “mommy” but not [name_f]Mama[/name_f].

[name_f]My[/name_f] mom has always been [name_f]Mama[/name_f], it just feels weird to call her Mam/Ma at this point!

I don’t even know what I want my child to call me. I don’t really see myself as a ‘mom’ or a ‘mommy’, possibly a mama or momma? I really don’t know at the moment.

I’m [name_f]English[/name_f] and my 3 year old calls me Mummy. But, we are a Ms [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] loving household and he calls me [name_f]Mama[/name_f] occasionally as that’s what she uses. [name_f]Mama[/name_f] makes me cringe when said out loud (which is odd as I like it when written!), I prefer Mummy and then Mum when they’re older. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner goes by Daddy.
