So lately when I come on NB, and this only happens on NB, this annoying pop up thing fills my screen announcing, “Your System is Heavily Damaged by Four Virus!”
(Because the person who wrote it apparently can’t make words plural, lol. There’s more written under the official announcement, and the grammar only gets worse as you read more.)
It’s not a serious problem, it’s more just annoying, but the only way to get rid of it is to close the tab and then I lose whatever I was working on, my list or the parts of my posts that weren’t auto-saved yet. It’s happened at least five times today. Has anyone else had this problem? Sorry if this was already addressed in another thread. It’s happened twice since I tried to start this thread, though
I haven’t seen that myself, I would recommend running a Malware scan on your computer (try MalwareBytes) to make sure it isn’t malware or a rootkit issue on your personal computer, sometimes these can cause websites to act in unpredictable ways.
As for potential Nameberry related problems, it could be due to an advertisement, have you noticed which banner ads etc are floating around your screen when this happens?
This specific issue hasn’t been addressed yet as far as I know, but another user did report an issue with spammy redirects not long ago:

Unfortunately, when things like this seem to be happening on just one machine, the most likely answer is a virus on your computer. I’d second the suggestion of scanning for malware.

I’m getting these also. I have 3 different security apps running on my phone. I have no idea why it keeps happening. In the last 20 minutes I’ve gotten it four times.

It’s not something we are seeing on our devices but as you may know, every individual sees different ads and there is also a difference from country to country. What country are you in? You can email me that information at pam@nameberry.com if you don’t want to post. Malware is also a likely culprit from an outside ad or site, but we can’t reproduce so it’s impossible to know how to correct.

At first I thought it was my phone, but it only happens when I’m on nameberry.
it’s been happening more frequently too. it’s a shame, because I love spending time on this website but it’s getting hard to use because of this problem.
