[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Lucina[/name_f]?
I pronounce it like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] but with an N, [name_u]Lou[/name_u]-see-na
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is better?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it will be confused with [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]?
I think it will be more confused with [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] then [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]. It is pretty though.
Agree with this
Not my favourite [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-name but it sounds pretty.
One of my best friends named her daughter this!
Some people in her family say [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]… But only because they don’t respect her enough to remember her actual name. After one polite correction, everyone else has no problem saying her name correctly.
She pretty exclusively goes by [name_f]Lu[/name_f] though. It’s precious, I really love her name!
I think [name_f]Lucina[/name_f] is beautiful and unique, without being too different. I love the mythological meaning (goddess of childbirth).
I think it’s possible that it could be misheard as [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], since [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is a more familiar name, but it would be fairly simple to correct people.
I do think I like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] and [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] better, but that might just be because they’re more familiar to my ear. I agree that [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] might be a source of confusion.
Lucina is fresh and sleek
I’m not a massive fan of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and her variants including [name_f]Lucina[/name_f]. I personally think the name will be mistaken for [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] more commonly than [name_f]Lucia[/name_f].
I really like it! It may be mistaken for [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] but i think it is gorgeous!
I really like it! It seems like a softer, musical version of [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]. It also has a fairly intuitive pronunciation (as opposed to [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]). Additionally, it has a long history!
It’s possible it might be misheard, but it’s an easy correction.
It’s pretty, but I prefer [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] to it.
I’ve never heard of this variation before, but I really like it! I also like [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f].
I think it has a high potential to be misread (I actually thought it said [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] at first) and I could see it being mistaken for [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] or [name_f]Luciana[/name_f]. Of the [name_f]Luci[/name_f]- names I like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] or [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] the best.
