đź’ your thoughts on some names I've been loving recently!

I’ve been getting into a few word names recently! I wouldn’t say I’m a massive word name person, although I do like nature/flower names! I’m just interested to hear people’s thoughts on the following names:

[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] (f)
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] (f)
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] (f)
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] (m)

out of these names I’d be most hesitant to use [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] on future children, but maybe those names would work well on female bunny rabbits :rabbit2: :two_hearts:

BONUS: does anyone have any similar names they would suggest for me?

I honestly think all of those names are lovely!! Here are my ratings:

[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] - 8/10 - A little out there but honestly if I met a [name_f]Blossom[/name_f], I would be more excited than anything! I think [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is a very spunky and go-getter name, while still being sweet and having lovely imagery!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] - 7/10 - A classic with a very nice meaning, I think it’s quite pretty but it reads very 90s to me. I would imagine a [name_f]Hope[/name_f] to be very artistic and funny, with a carrying laugh

[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - 7/10 - Very pretty, just not my favorite out of your names. I would expect a [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] to be quiet and sweet, with squishy cheeks and a dazzling smile!

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - 8.5/10 - This used to be one of my favorite boy names, and I think it has it all: powerful nature, while still being sensitive and soft. I would picture a little [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] to be a lover of the outdoors, and always up for an adventure!!

Overall, I think [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] are my favorites! However, if you’re not prepared to use [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] on a real person, I think she’d make a very lovely bunny as well

What lovely names! They feel naturey and sweet. Here’s my thoughts on them:

:cherry_blossom: Blossom: Has a nice sound and blossoms are so beautiful! My first thought was that it may be a bit hard to wear on an adult but I definitely think it could work.
:rabbit2: Hope: Love the meaning and has a nice sound, a little short and snappy.
:tulip: Meadow: I actually love Meadow! My little sister’s friends with a 5 year old Meadow and she’s really made me love the name. I’m not a fan on the nicknames Mead or Meadie which she may be called by some people but with a correction I don’t think it would be an issue.
:otter: Rowan: Rowan feels like the otter emoji to me! It’s soft and evokes beautiful imagery. Ro is a super cute nickname and I also like Rory! But, I don’t think Rowan needs a nickname.

This made me smile because the little Meadow I know is exactly this description! :face_holding_back_tears:

For you, I really like Meadow and Hope but I love all of them for you.

[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] - 8/10: I like it, not so much though, and it reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls. Still usable!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] - 4/10: Might be due to knowing too many Hopes.

[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - 9/10: YES

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - 8.5/10: I prefer it on a boy, but don’t mind it on a girl either.

blossom - 5/10 - reminds me of the powerpuff girls! which isn’t bad, but it does make the name seem more childish to me. i wouldn’t use it on a person, but i agree that it’d be an adorable name for a pet!

hope - 3/10 - there’s nothing wrong with hope, but i just think it’s boring. i don’t love the look or sound either

meadow - 9/10 - i think meadow is so fun! it’s definitely out there but i would use it. it has such lovely imagery and an appealing sound. i’ve always thought meadow “mae” would be cute, though i’m not sure how intuitive it is!

rowan - 8/10 - i strongly prefer rowan on a boy so i’m a big fan! i love how soft/gentle it sounds, while also working on a man of any age. plus, ro is a cute nickname!

here are my thoughts:

blossom: 6/10 cute to use as a middle for me. i’m not sure if i could be convinced to use it as a first, but i have seen some great combos out there with it!

hope: 5/10 it feels a little dated to me. i’ve met people that have hope as a first or middle and i’ve never disliked it, i just can’t see myself using it.

meadow: 8/10 honestly i really like it. i prefer it as a middle to a first but it’s so adorable and i could totally imagine a little meadow running around!

rowan: 8/10 i like it!! if i were to name a boy something similar i’d probably use roan over rowan but it’s still such a cute name, it has a great vibe.

I know an adult Blossom! She and her siblings all have super fun nature-themed names (think along the lines of Berry, Hawk, River, etc.). Blossom is super fun — bold but soft & sweet. Besides the flower connection, I also love the idea of people blossoming!

Such a lovely concept paired with such a lovely sound — I’m surprised I don’t see her more often! Hope is bright, sunny, & spunky.

This is one I’ve been warming up to lately! I do like Meadow, but she doesn’t sparkle as much as Blossom & Hope — still, she’s got a lovely gentle sound and gorgeous, peaceful imagery.

Strong but gentle — a really handsome name

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]! It has such a magical feel about it, and the nature connection is lovely too.
