[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - funky, sweet and lovely
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] -charming, fresh but vintage
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - cute and quirky
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - lovely, pretty with a little flair
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - I quite like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. It’s cute, feminine, and underused. I think of a soft, sweet little girl.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - I adore [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! Unsurprisingly it makes me think of the colour, but that’s a good thing! I think autumnal when I hear [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - I’ve never liked [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and I’m not quite sure why. Unfortunately my mind does jump straight to Scooby Doo.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - I’m not a fan of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. It feels a bit pretentious to me. I think of, well pearls!
I’m not sure if you’re after suggestions, but [name_f]Faye[/name_f] was one that came to mind.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]- I really like this name. Not at first, but it has grown on me.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]- This is my favorite name on this list! It’s so sweet and strong at the same time.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]- This is the only name I don’t like from your list. It doesn’t have a very appealing sound to me. It works here though.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]- I really like this this name but only for the middle spot. Maybe because of the whale reference from spongbob.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - Cute, bubbly and sweet. I really like the name!
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - Sweet, bookish, quiet. I’m not the biggest fan of it because of how popular it is but I love the sound.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - Same as [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], + quirky. Really like it, I think it’s still very underused though it’s gaining popularity. It has a bit of a British vibe.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - Sweet and friendly. I love, love, love [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], it’s such a gentle and underappreciated vintage name.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] are two of my personal favourites. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are lovely too.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]: I like it, though I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t know how to pronounce it
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]: I love it, it’s classic, solid, strong, straightforward but also dreamy and witchy.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]: it’s very scooby doo for me, but that’s not bad. I like it
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]: spongebob and an old lady I know. I’m not fond of it
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] I do not personally like, but I can see the allure. It’s very pretty on paper, I’m just not sure I care for the pronunciation. To me, it sounds like [name_m]Dave[/name_m]. Incomplete, like there should be a longer name for it. Like how [name_m]Dave[/name_m] has [name_m]David[/name_m], I feel like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] should have something. Maybe [name_f]Mavis[/name_f]? Like I said, though, while I would never use it, I can see the appeal.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] I like. It’s really pretty and appeals to my hippie side. I group it with names like [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. It is becoming really popular, though.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] I have never been a fan of. I don’t really like names that end in a “-nee” sound. Funny, as that’s how my name ends. And I’ve always hated it. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] makes me think of Scooby Doo, or I just hear the word “daft.”
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is another one I don’t care for. I just hear “[name_m]Earl[/name_m]” with a P slapped on it. It has a very pretty namesake, but the actual “sound” that we make to say it is very rough and altogether ugly to me. My taste is weird, though. [name_f]Do[/name_f] not by any means let that stop you. No one is going to bat an eye if you love it and name your daughter [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
I am definitely more positive than negative about [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].
But I really dislike all the gem names–[name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. I’m from the US and find them a bit on the tacky side.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - I like this one, it seems on trend but still vintage and unique
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - My mind immediately goes to The Fault in Our Stars, which isn’t necessarily a negative. I do like the name though, it reminds me of the start of Fall where it’s just starting to get colder and the leaves are changing.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - I’ve always really liked [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. It’s quirky and unexpected but still well known and recognizable. I do think of Scooby Doo but I don’t find that to be a negative association either.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - this is the one name on your list that I don’t like. I’ve always thought it sounded pretentious and is still very grandma to me.
