Your thoughts on the combo Elske Abbeline...

[name]Hi[/name] there berries! What do you think of the combination [name]Elske[/name] (first) [name]Abbeline[/name] (middle) for a daughter? Hit or miss? [name]Abbeline[/name] is my grandmother’s first name, and [name]Elske[/name] is to continue the “el” sounding first name which my mother and I have. Alternatives to [name]Elske[/name] are welcome but [name]Abbeline[/name] is pretty much locked in. Thanks in advance for your awesome feedback!

Not a fan of [name]Elske[/name]. I don’t know if it ends in uh or ee for pronunciation, and hat bothers me. It also reminds me of Eskimos. Maybe [name]Elsie[/name]?

[name]How[/name] do you pronounce [name]Elske[/name]? I know it’s a variation of [name]Elizabeth[/name], but I don’t know how to say it.

My favorite [name]Elizabeth[/name] variation is [name]Eliska[/name], which is close to [name]Elske[/name], but looks more complete to me.

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Gabriela[/name], [name]Elske[/name] is pronounced [name]El[/name]-sk-eh, a not quite an “a” sound on the end.

It’s one of the more unusual name combos I’ve heard, but I like it. It has meaning and it’s unique. There’s a chance [name]Elske[/name] might be confused with the other popular [name]El[/name]- names, but I wouldn’t worry. It’s a neat name that creative without being kre8tive or trendeee.

[name]Elske[/name] means “to love” in Danish and as a name, I’m rly not a fan. I seems like a word someone heard, didn’t know the meaning of - but liked and decided to use. It doesn’t work for me, sorry.

I’m not crazy about the name [name]Elske[/name], but it’s okay. I think you will run into pronunciation problems.

[name]Elske[/name] [name]Abbeline[/name]…
Its unusual, and i actually like that it means to love in danish. but the word [name]Elske[/name] doesn’t look right and I can’t put my finger on why. Although in sound elske Abberline is very pretty
Other [name]El[/name] names:

I love Abeline.

Someone else mentioned [name]Elva[/name]. It’s my DD’s middle name! I considered Abeline [name]Elva[/name] while I was pregnant. She’s [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Elva[/name].

I don’t really understand [name]Elske[/name], but I like [name]Abbeline[/name].
