Well, I love it! I love the ‘oo’ sound and the fact that it can’t be made into a silly nickname. It’s feminine but strong.
I’m due today with a baby girl, and our name is ‘[name_f]Oona[/name_f]’, so not far from your choice! We’re in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] where both these names would be unusual but not outlandish.
Middle name for us is undecided… I’m about to post for ideas
I’ve only heard of one [name_f]Uma[/name_f], [name_f]Uma[/name_f] [name_m]Thurman[/name_m], so for me it’s somewhat a one person name. I love it, though. It feels exotic yet easily to spell and pronounce.
I love it. It’s short, strong but very feminine and quirky in a good way.
I also love [name_f]Oonagh[/name_f] but prefer it spelled [name_f]Una[/name_f].
