I’ve become so stumped with names for our first girl. We have two sons, [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Truett[/name_m] and I’d like to find a two-syllable name that goes well with theirs. It doesn’t have to be as unusual as [name_m]Truett[/name_m] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] was around 500 on the ssa the year he was born.
I’d like to avoid repeating first initials and endings of the boys’ names. Also avoiding B names.
Names we like but won’t use:
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] -[name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this but too close to [name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_f]Afton[/name_f]
[name_u]Emory[/name_u]- sounds bad with last name
[name_u]Gentry[/name_u]- husband likes but it’s not my thing
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]- husband likes but I think it’s too long
Names we have considered:
Maebry ([name_f]Mabry[/name_f])- we like this but have a friend who’s baby girl is named very similar.
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f]-also have a friend who just named her baby [name_f]Cori[/name_f]. I’d use the nn [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u]- like this but only one syllable
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]- husband’s pick. I worry this won’t age well.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any suggestions based on what we like?
