WDYT of [name]Zac[/name]? [name]Just[/name] [name]Zac[/name] not short for anything. Is it substantial enough to stand alone or does it need something else. My list is taking on a real short and sweet theme so I think it definitely fits my style. WDYT?
Yeah, too nicknamey for me, sorry. I could never really understand the appeal of just [name]Ben[/name], [name]Nate[/name], [name]Sam[/name], [name]Jake[/name], [name]Zac[/name], etc. I think [name]Zachary[/name], or even [name]Isaac[/name], would work, and you could still use the nn [name]Zac[/name]. Besides, even though the majority of your girls’ names are short and sweet, your boys’ names are more formal and quite longer. I think [name]Zachary[/name] or [name]Isaac[/name] fits in much better with [name]Charles[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Daniel[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Dominic[/name], etc. than just [name]Zac[/name] would. I think even [name]Zachary[/name]/[name]Isaac[/name] fits much better with [name]Lila[/name], [name]Clara[/name], [name]Ava[/name], [name]Adele[/name], [name]Vera[/name], [name]Emily[/name], [name]Elena[/name], [name]Willa[/name], etc. because even though they’re short and sweet, they’re all legitimate names on their own, you know? [name]Zac[/name] is very nicknamey to me.
I like it!
I don’t particularly like nicknames on their own, and [name]Zac[/name] is one I don’t like on it’s own too much. However, if you would just call him [name]Zac[/name] and not like his full name, then you should just name him [name]Zac[/name].
I will agree with [name]Ash[/name]. Your girls names are short and sweet, but your boys names are generally still longer and classic. I think [name]Isaac[/name] nn [name]Zac[/name] would fit in with them.
