I think either [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u] would be great! I prefer [name_u]Finley[/name_u] on a boy, I’m not a fan of it on girls. It is more trendy, in [name_u]America[/name_u] at least, to name your girl [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. [name_u]Finley[/name_u] currently sits just outside the top 200 for girls and is in the 300s for boys. [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is way more classy than [name_u]Finley[/name_u] and way more popular, being in the top 100 in the USA and several other countries.
I adore [name_u]Finley[/name_u]/[name_u]Finlay[/name_u]. [name_u]Finley[/name_u]/[name_u]Finlay[/name_u] is 100% masculine to me. [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] is on my short list.
I prefer [name_u]Finley[/name_u] and it is 100% boys name, in my opinion. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] would make the cutest sibset.
I would go with [name_u]Finley[/name_u], however if it were me, I would just go with [name_u]Finn[/name_u].
My son’s name is [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and my favourite girls name has always been [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]. I’ve always thought [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] would make the cutest siblings (although I’m about to have a little boy :)). I think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] sound adorable together. Perfect!
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] I don’t really love, but like it better than [name_m]Zachary[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. I dislike [name_u]Finley[/name_u] for girls, but I hear it occasionally. I prefer [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]. However, [name_u]Finley[/name_u] is perfect with your girls’ names.
Definitely [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] for me. But where I’m from, [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] has been steadily popular-but-not-too-popular for many many years, so I see it as a lovely, strong, timeless, traditional sort of a name, whereas [name_u]Finley[/name_u]/[name_u]Finlay[/name_u]/[name_u]Finn[/name_u] has really only boomed in the last 10 or so years and I think is heading down the charts again now. It’s a nice name, but definitely feels more “trendy” than [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] to me.
I prefer [name_u]Finley[/name_u] (or even better, [name_u]Finlay[/name_u]), and I do think of it as entirely masculine. [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is more classic though.
We ruled out [name_u]Finley[/name_u] originally due to the struggle on whether to go with [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. My partner isn’t as keen on [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] though.
I find [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] doesn’t sound as natural to me to say, but I prefer the spelling. If only there wasn’t a 'ley and a 'lay version it would be so much easier!
I love [name_u]Finley[/name_u], but it is more popular for girls right now. However, [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] has been on the charts for years and probably always will be, and it’s also a name that will probably appeal to your older relatives more than [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. If you choose either of these names, it is somewhat likely that he will share a class with other Finleys and Zacharys. My opinion is that you seem concerned about [name_u]Finley[/name_u], and it does have more negatives despite sounding fresher and more modern, so maybe you should go with [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]. If it were me, though, I would pick a shortened version of either ([name_u]Finn[/name_u] or [name_m]Zack[/name_m]) because your daughters have such beautifully tailored names and it match better.
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] to me is the more solid name, while I agree [name_u]Finley[/name_u] goes better with our girls names.
We would be likely to use [name_m]Zach[/name_m] as a nn quite often with [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]. [name_u]Finn[/name_u] for [name_u]Finley[/name_u]/lay.
(Our last name is 1 syllable, hence wanting the longer versions of [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u] even if we do wind up informally using the nn’s a bit)
