Recently added [name_m]Zane[/name_m] to my boys list, and wanted to gather thoughts on it. I really like it, just not sure I love it. Any opinions are greatly appreciated! Also which spelling do you prefer, [name_m]Zane[/name_m] or [name_m]Zain[/name_m]? I can’t decide because they both have different meanings and I love both meanings. [name_f]TIA[/name_f]!
Everywhere I’ve looked says [name_m]Zain[/name_m] is just a veriation of [name_m]Zane[/name_m] so I can’t really decide based on meaninfa, but based on looks and spelling I like [name_m]Zane[/name_m] better
I know a little boy named [name_m]Zane[/name_m], but I honestly can’t imagine it aging well. Grandpa [name_m]Zane[/name_m]? Eh, I don’t know. It’s not really my style. I do prefer the intuitive [name_m]Zane[/name_m] spelling, though. [name_m]Zain[/name_m] would be misspelled constantly.
I really like it.
[name_m]Zane[/name_m] has a beautiful meaning and an interesting sound.
It has a slightly western feel to me because of [name_m]Zane[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]–kinda like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].
I know a baby named [name_m]Zane[/name_m] and I think it’s cute.
I actually think it would age quite well.
Certainly no worse than names like [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
We’re considering [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] (since DH isn’t too keen on Zeal :()
