Impressions? Is this one actually wearable? [name]Do[/name] you think of [name]Zara[/name] [name]Phillips[/name] ([name]Princess[/name] [name]Anne[/name]'s daughter) or [name]Zara[/name] the clothing store? Is it too close to Brangelina’s [name]Zahara[/name] to be considered an underused classic?
I had completely tossed out the name as a possibility because of the clothing chain, but maybe it’s just a problem in my own mind and nobody else thinks of that.
I think [name]Zara[/name] is beautiful. It is growing in popularity, and though I do think of a clothing store first, I easily can imagine it as a separate name.
I like [name]Zara[/name]'s princessy feel and it’s very different from [name]Zahara[/name]. [name]Lovely[/name] choice!
I love [name]Zara[/name]. I keep putting it on then taking it off my list because I have [name]Zoe[/name] on my list. I think it’s a gorgeous choice.
Personally, I would think it’s awesome to have royalty and a hugely popular clothing store share a name with me, but I’m a girly girl like that.
It’s fairly common in the UK and I’ve known a couple. [name]Even[/name] though most people would immediately think of royalty and/or the clothes shop it’s not as though either of those are bad connections, so I see no reasons why it shouldn’t be wearable. It’s elegant and, as far as I know, fairly unusual in the US.
I’m actually in the UK, so I know what you mean. I do worry that there will be a load of other Zaras at nursery school, though, as it seems to be getting popular here in the [name]Richmond[/name] area!
I ALWAYS think of the clothes stop. It’s the most popular clothing chain in my country, so everybody thinks of that here… Yet, some people use it - I know a little [name]Zara[/name]. 
Because the truth is, apart from the shop and the princess, [name]Zara[/name] is a gorgeous name… you just have to be a little daring to choose it!
I’m in the US and was unaware of the clothing chain or any princess connections until NB. It’s one of my faves but husband hates it cause it’s too exotic.
I think it’s exotic but simple which I like. [name]Way[/name] prettier than [name]Zahara[/name] and no, I don’t think that’s a strong association. I like the meaning(s) and how distinctive it is without being insane. It sounds like a name from the future or some foreign land but it has earthy roots and a Biblical connection. I just really like it.
I love [name]Zara[/name], it’s exotic but still very usable imo. Yeah I think of the clothing store, but it’s not really a bad association to have? I think they have very nice clothes haha.
