Zealand doesn’t show up on Nameberry. But I would like people’s thoughts for a boy’s name on both.
They’re cool and definitely unusual! [name_u]Lex[/name_u]/[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] is a spunky nickname for a boy.
I’m not a fan of Lexington, I don’t care for —ington names in general. I’ve never heard if Zealand as a name, and on one hand, I like it and think it’s a cool name, but on the other, wonder if that would cause confusion in a few areas, such as, do they live in [name_m]New[/name_m] Zealand? I could see that causing an error more than once in important documents, emails, etc. If they live in NZ, their name might appear to be part of their address, and if they don’t live in NZ, it does seem strange to name your child after another country, however I am also guilty of liking the name [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and some united States names so I don’t think it should be totally ruled out for this reason, so long as it isn’t culturally appropriating. Like I said, it’s a cool name, but I wouldn’t be brave enough to use it.
I like Zealand
Zealand is a cooler name.
Zealand is a great name! Very handsome, and knightly. I also love Lexington. [name_u]Lex[/name_u] is dashing nickname for a boy as is Z. Ultimately my pick would be Zealand
Being from [name_m]New[/name_m] Zealand tbh I find that name unusable as when I hear of it I think of NZ. If your not from here than I might be useable. I think Lexington is alright the nickname [name_u]Lex[/name_u] is cool. Not a big fan of place names myself but out of the two I much prefer Lexington.
