I just wanted to hear some [name_u]Berry[/name_u]'s opinions on the name [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] is such a strong name for a girl, I just love it. [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is a very significant honor name for me.
Oh, and as my signature says, my son is [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Adam[/name_m], so I’m also wondering if they sound okay as a sibset.
I’m also well aware of the video game connection and don’t mind it. I like the game franchise.
I am also constantly asked if my sons name has to do with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] or Family [name_m]Guy[/name_m] so I’m used to those sorts of questions already.
As my signature shows I am already a huge fan of [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]. It is our choice name if our baby is a girl, but with a different middle name. [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] flows nicely, and how wonderful that the name has personal meaning to you. I think [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] are adorable together.
I don’t normally like the name [name_f]Irene[/name_f], but there’s something quirky about [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] that I quite like.

I like the combo and each name individually. [name_f]Irene[/name_f] may seem “dated” to some folks but I think it is a classic with a great meaning. [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is really nice!
I have grown quite fond of [name_f]Irene[/name_f] in the last year or so; it is more classical than other ene/een names. I have a faint knowledge of the [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] of the video game series, but I more associate the name with [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_m]Fitzgerald[/name_m]. I like the combination, and it is nice that she won’t have to worry about sharing her name with a lot of other girls.
@opelle I don’t care if it sounds dated, it was my grandmother’s middle name and she was such a positive influence on my entire life.
