While I love [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]'s playfulness, grace and limpidity, the P. G. Wodehouse character named [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] with the nickname Nobby has made me fall in love with [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f]!

I think [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is more wearable in real life.

I love love [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]- it’s bright and feminine yet commanding and strong! Everyone has different name associations and for me, [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], while beautiful, reminds me of zeno, as in zenophobe. Most people probably don’t think that way, but just my two cents.

[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] feels too out there for me. [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] fits perfectly with hypothetical siblings

Ooh I love [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]! She feels strong and bright and unforgettable. [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] feels heavier to me somehow. I also think she goes better with the other siblings (especially the connection between the Greek [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]/[name_f]Pandora[/name_f]/[name_f]Evanthe[/name_f] and [name_m]Olympus[/name_m]).

I would [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] to see a family with children bearing all these bold, beautiful names!

[name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is a better fit, and I think has the more attractive sound of the 2. [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] is substantial, but [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] has that same quality while also having a brightness/vibrancy that [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] does not.

love your style btw!

Thanks for the replies guys! I have noticed comments in previous threads as well on [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f]’s closeness to xenophobia, which I had discounted, but I can see a lot of people mishearing it irl, so I’ll have to think it over.

Now I just have to find someone willing to indulge me and make it a reality someday haha.

@brittanyanitarose: Thanks! I love yours too!

I adore [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], but [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is also very pretty. I think [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] would even out your girls names a little though.

I think both are just fantastic names, however my vote went to [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] as I do so much love her energy & brightness too. I also think [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] goes best with your other name loves, too.

[name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is gorgeous and evokes such strong and positive associations.

I guess I’m in the minority as I like [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] slightly better with your other sibling names. Yes, it’s a bit more out there, but you clearly have a more daring naming style and I like the strength and fun of [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f]. To me [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is a sweeter name which works, just not as well.

Hmmmm I’m kind of on the fence both could work…[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] is a little more soft quirky to me whilst [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is vibrant and spunky. I love the nicknames [name_u]Zia[/name_u] and [name_u]Zen[/name_u] for [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] but it’s less familiar sounding than [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]'s [name_f]Pia[/name_f] and [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]. Both kind of fit in but change the way the sibset could work in the future…

Considering the whole outlook, I think [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] is your best bet, it’s quirky and sweet and matches the fire of [name_u]Artemis[/name_u], the softness of [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] and the sweetness of [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f]. Plus it sounds better to me when I say the 8 sibling names together. Really though, both names work amazing (so I’m not much help).

@kizzy_delgado: The nn options for [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] really sway me towards her. As much as I say I’m not that into nns, I do like to have options, and I’d probably end up using some. I absolutely love [name_f]Zena[/name_f], [name_u]Zia[/name_u], and B for [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], whilst I like the less intuitive [name_f]Pippi[/name_f] and [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] for [name_f]Olympia[/name_f], and I just enjoy the idea of maybe saying more names I love (if that makes sense haha).

[name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] has a baby called [name_f]Olympia[/name_f], though I doubt it’s going to kyrocket any time soon. I have such a hard time deciding between the two, honestly. At the end of the day, I could see myself using [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] over [name_f]Olympia[/name_f], but I would likely do a lot of waffling.

I prefer [name_f]Olympia[/name_f].

[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] looks… weird… unnatural or something … I don’t know.

It took me almost 2 days to decide but I went with [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f]. I love both but I think [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] blends in with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] while [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] really stands out, which is why she got my vote.

[name_f]Olympia[/name_f] for two reasons. One, it has more flow with her siblings and in general. Two, it would go with the Greek names most of her siblings have.
