Zephyr, Tallis, Everest or Leo?

I really like [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] and [name_u]Everest[/name_u]! They’re both a little off beat while still being familiar. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is nice but a little too popular for me and doesn’t have the same striking quality as [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] and [name_u]Everest[/name_u]. I like [name_m]Tallis[/name_m] in meaning but the name itself just doesn’t wow me.

I have to agree with @brittanyanitarose.

Although, I do like the nn [name_u]Tal[/name_u]… probably because I adore the name [name_m]Talon[/name_m].

My vote would be [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u].

I voted for [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] because it’s such a cool, modern name with history. I love [name_u]Everest[/name_u], too, but the similarity/likelihood of confusion with [name_u]Everett[/name_u] does bother me. I also like [name_m]Tallis[/name_m] a lot.

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] seems like the odd man out here, very popular.

Lots of great choices! My favourite is Leo, then Zephyr. Not a fan of Tallis. I prefer Everest as a middle.
To me it depends in what your other kids names are. If they have popular names, then I would pick Leo. If they have more quirky, unusual names, then Zephyr/Everest are my top picks.

[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] and [name_u]Everest[/name_u] are wonderful picks! For me, it would also depend on what your other children’s names are to make the decision.

I love [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m]! If I had to choose just one, I’d go with [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] because it’s more offbeat and mysterious. I’m a bit biased, though, it’s almost my son’s middle name… :wink:

I’ve always loved [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. It strikes me as the perfect boy’s name: simple, strong, energetic and international. The only downside is its popularity.

I also really like [name_m]Tallis[/name_m]. I like its crisp, unconventional sound and the link to the composer. [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] is another favourite, if you like that?

I really like [name_u]Everest[/name_u]. It’s distinct while being familiar and has a cool powerful connotation I think most boys would enjoy.

[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] is my second choice.
