I have a [name_u]Zoe[/name_u]. Would a [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] be too matchy?
I like [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]. I don’t think it’s too matchy.
They sound different enough! I like them
I don’t think they’re too matchy! The sounds are distinct and the shared first initial is cute.
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f]!
Maybe the fact that I love both of these names makes me biased, but I think it’s a cute set! Is it a little obviously matching with the striking first initial? Maybe. However, they are distinct enough in sound that people won’t mix it up. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister and I share a first initial (each name with a very distinct style), and it wasn’t a big deal.
Personally I am not a fan of alliterations within sibling names, but if the Z initials do not bother you then the two names are not similar.
I love [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]. I don’t think it’s too matchy. I actually think the pairing is cute.
I think it’s cute! They both have distinct sounds but the Z makes them cohesive :))
It’s not something I’d do personally, just because I think the quirkiness of the letter Z as a name initial makes the alliteration feel more pronounced, and also ties you to a pattern you might not be able to sustain for any further children (not a huge pool of Z names and even less nice ones). But, all of that aside, I defs don’t think they’re too matchy to use together if those are the names you love - completely different sounds.
I love alliteration! And I don’t think [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] and [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] are stylistically close ! I think they both are super distinct names , that really only share the first initial
[name_u]Zoe[/name_u] mean life and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] is associated as fighting made . [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] is beautiful but has some strong associations ( Ninetendo , [name_u]Scott[/name_u] Fitzgerald)
For me personally I think [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] and [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] would be too matchy or [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] and [name_f]Zora[/name_f], however I think [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] are a perfect pair
i dont think they’re too similar !! they make a lovely set and i adore zelda
Not at all! That’d be so cool!
It does make me think of the made-up show within the show BoJack Horseman (there was a fake show on the show where the main twins were named [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] and Zelda), but if this doesn’t bother you, I say go ahead!!
Sounds way too much like a bojack horseman reference to me, and the styles just seem way too different.
The only similarity really is the first letter. They both have distinct styles and sounds, so I think they could work together!
