Zoe; does it go with my surname?

My surname sounds like Stones, but it ends with a z (and starts with the STO sound). I love [name]Zoe[/name], it’s one of my favourite names, but I’m worried it won’t sound good with my surname and the repeated “oh” sound. I don’t know whether the baby is a boy or a girl yet, but I wanted to have a few names sorted for when I do find out.

I really like it, so if I cave and decide to use it anyway, will it cause her any issues?
Thanks for any help!!

[name]Jess[/name]

The repeating sound of [name]Zoe[/name] Stones doesn’t bother me at all.

[name]Zoe[/name] Stones isn’t ideal. Saying it aloud a number of times made my tongue trip up until I was slurring the name like a drunken sailor :). [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Chloe[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Daphne[/name] or [name]Penelope[/name]?

I really like it, especially with the Z connection in the first and last name. I say, use it!

its cute

It doesn’t bother me because it ends the “ee” sound. If was just pronounced “zo” then it would be too rhyme-y for me.

I think it is fine. It wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me.
