Zoe vs Zoey

My partner and I both have four letters in our name so I thought it might be nice for our daughter to have the same…although, I am not sure it really matters at the same time.

Which spelling to you prefer and why? [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] or [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]

Thanks

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] seems fresher to me. I’m a teacher and have seen it spelled both ways with no problems, but I prefer the shorter, cleaner spelling. It’s a lovely name either way. Congrats!

I do honestly prefer the [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] spelling, it seems simpler and it is by far the more common version I think. I don’t like it when an alternative spelling adds nothing to a name but complications.

I think [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is timeless whereas [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] seems like more of a fad if that makes sense?

I prefer the traditional [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. The Y in [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] just seems unnecessary to me.

I much prefer [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] because of simplicity.

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is the original Greek spelling and I think it looks a lot less trendier than [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]; with the Y is okay but without it just looks short and sweet!

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]!

I once saw a Cabbage Patch doll called [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. You can always go with that if you can’t decide! LOL

I prefer [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. Like others who have commented, I think it is just a simple, fresh name.
