Zoe

SO really likes [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] as a fn for a future daughter. While it’s a nice name, it’s a little short/cutesy/common for my taste. It has grown on me significantly but I was wondering if you berries could think of any longer names that [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] might or could be used as a nn for?

Thanks in advance!
C

These may be a little out-there, but I’m thinking [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] could be a possible nn for:
[name_f]Zofia[/name_f]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Zephyrine[/name_f]
Best of luck!

I like [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] more than [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. However, I know that I would never use it. It’s always sounded a little retro to me.

I Quite like [name_f]Zoelle[/name_f] that someone suggested, but definitely prefer [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] to [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. I honestly think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] could work, too.

I adore [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]!
I’m also thinking [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] and [name_f]Isolde[/name_f].

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I prefer the [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] spelling but SO prefers [name_f]Zoey[/name_f].

I had never thought of using [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] as a way to get to [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] before! I kind of like it. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is actually my preferred spelling of the name.

I had also seen the name [name_f]Zosia[/name_f] (prn [name_m]Zo[/name_m]-SHA.) but I can’t decide if I like it or not. Haha

I like [name_f]Zosia[/name_f]! But [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is a great option too.

Zosime is another possibility but I don’t really like the meaning of ‘viable’ or l’ikely to survive’
