I’m nowhere near having any kids, but thinking about names is a sort of hobby of mine. So, I was thinking about [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. I’m just thinking that its a little too “young”. I just can’t picture anyone over the age of 30 with that name. So, what do you think?
I honestly can’t picture someone out of highschool having that name, though I’m sure there are. I feel like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is a better nickname.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] has never really been a favorite of mine. I like [name_f]Zara[/name_f] though.
I guess I sort of had trouble imagining it on anyone other than a toddler for awhile, but I have a niece by the name and it’s growing up with her just fine. Plus there is the actress [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] Deschanel – granted it’s a showbiz association so that doesn’t always give a good indication of real-life wearability, but there she is. Considering that [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] at popularity #20 and spelling [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] at #30, I think it’s going to be a fairly moot point in the forseeable future. Whether anyone can picture it or not, pretty soon a veritable army of [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]/ys are going to be graduating from high schools across the country.
I know people over 30 with the name [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. I think it’s a great name. In fact it was the name i was sure i’d name my future daughter when i was in my teens. I’m more in love with [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_f]Zora[/name_f] and [name_u]Zola[/name_u] right now though.
I should mention each of the Zoe’s I know is beautiful and successful!
I was reading a book about [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] a few years ago, and he ([name_m]Abe[/name_m]) mentioned a woman named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. It has been around for a long time. I love it. My 2-y-o is named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and I’m sure it will grow with her just fine, as it has with many [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]'s before her.
My 7 year old is named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. I love her name and it’s grown with her nicely. She always gets co,pimentos on her name!
Lol. Compliments. Silly iPad.
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. My 80 year old grandmother is named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], so I can picture it on any age.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is cute, but very child-like.
It doesn’t seem to be hindering [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] Saldana in any way. I think it’s perfectly usable on an adult.
I love [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], spelled either [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] or [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. Now some are spelling it Zowie too!
I think its cute as a child but is able to grow into a spunky, fun adult name. I would love it to be my name instead of boring [name_f]Danielle[/name_f]
I know plenty of zoe / zowie/ zoie/ zoeys who are kids and also elder like over 30!! I think its a name that can go thru completely also my 6 year old sister is also a zoey! lol
It really conjures up a juvenile image to me, probably due to the fact that I know about 3 kids under the age of 10 with the name [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]! There was actually a regular customer at the last place I worked named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and she was probably in her fifties or sixties, and she wore it so well! It seems rather unexpected for someone older than about 30, but not unbelievable, I think–I thought it was so refreshing to meet an older [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]! I think it’s fab, really. If I could see myself with a [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], I’d use it in a heartbeat. As it is, I’m trying to fit it on my list as a middle.
I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and although it’s kind of a youthful name I don’t think it’s unsuited to older people. My friend’s grandma is named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and it suits her. Anyways, if you name a kid [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] now then by the time she’s old there will be a lot of other older Zoes, so people will be more used to it.
