I came across this name on a reality tv show and I instantly fell in love. The person was Russian but when I look up the name, nothing comes up.
I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of Zoetica (pronounced [name_m]Zo[/name_m]-eh-ti-cah). [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s pretty? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s usable?
I was thinking Zoetica Bexley or Zoetica [name_f]Tempest[/name_f]. Are here too out there?

I’ve not heard Zoetica as a name before, but the word zoetic means ‘of, or relating to, life’ or ‘alive’, so that could potentially be how the name Zoetica came about?
I do think, yes, it has a very cool, zesty sound, and if you are someone that has the confidence and can pull off such an obscure, bold name, than yes, it’s usable. Zoetica [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] sounds fantastic, though I must admit, I do tend to think ‘sci-fi character’ when I see/hear it, which I love the idea of, but I’m not entirely sure just how wearable it it would be on a real person?

I really don’t like it. I would like that [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] would be the nn, but then I would just go with [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] as the whole name.
Zoetica is ok, I don’t love it, I think [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is much nicer as a stand alone. But Zoetica is fine.
I think Zoetica [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] is the better of the two, but both Zoetica [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] and Zoetica Bexley are both a but much. If you used Zoetica I think it would need a very common very simple middle name - Zoetica [name_f]Jane[/name_f], Zoetica [name_f]Louise[/name_f], Zoetica [name_f]Joy[/name_f] etc. because otherwise it just sounds like a name that is trying very hard to be different, rather than a name that is just unusual.

The more I think about it, the more I don’t think it’s usable for a child. Maybe for a dog lol.

I think Zoetica is pretty and intriguing, though it does sound more like stage name than a real name.
