Starting to love [name_f]Zosia[/name_f] with the nickname [name_m]Zo[/name_m] or even Zosi on occasion (never [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]).
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think others will pronounce it [name_m]ZO[/name_m]-sha or zo-see-uh?

I love [name_f]Zosia[/name_f] <3 I think it will be accepted quite easily, with it’s similarity to Sasha and Zoe. Thankfully it is also unusual, which is an added bonus. As for pronunciation, people will probably mistake it at first, but that’s easily corrected.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] this name! Might add it to our list actually (sorry! but we’re not pregnant or planning to be again any time soon, so no worries). As for pronunciation, I would pronounce it [name_m]ZO[/name_m]-sha, but I’m sure you’ll get zo-SEE-a, [name_m]ZO[/name_m]-seeya, and any possible mispronunciation of it at some point in time. Believe it or not, every name gets mispronounced (My mom’s name is [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and we constantly got telemarketing calls for “Lousy” or “Loozy”. Some people just don’t try or think before they speak. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t let that affect choosing a beautiful name that you love for your child.
I love it with the [name_m]Zo[/name_m]-sha pronunciation but to be honest I instantly went “zo-see-uh? zo-sigh-ah?” and was a little confused. That shouldn’t be an issue though, just a quick correction and you’d be good to go. The name is also visually appealing, I love the idea of a first name starting with “Z”!
