Our triplets are going to be born on the 27th of this month, and thanks to your great suggestions, we’ve come up with names for 2: [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]. But, we need a name for their other sister.
This is the list of names we like:
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_u]Georgie[/name_u]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]
[name_f]Annie[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Mavis[/name_f]
[name_f]Moon[/name_f]
We’ve also got a few combos we like: [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], but we don’t love any of them as much as [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f].
Please can you help us name our final triplet? [name_m]New[/name_m] name suggestions are welcome, but we have a really long surname, so we’re looking at a maximum of a two-syllable first name. Big sister is [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] and big brother is [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] [name_u]March[/name_u].
Great choices so far! With [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], my favorite first name options are:
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] (breaks your one-syllable middle trend, but I do love these two together!)
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]North[/name_u]
I’ve always thought [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f] sounded great together!
From your list I’d choose [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I’d definitely nix [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (although I love it) and even [name_f]Iris[/name_f] because they are too noun-y and colour related like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. I don’t find [name_f]Moon[/name_f], [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] or [name_f]Juno[/name_f] to fit with the other two at all.
Not sure if it matters to you, but you already have your first 2 triplets named with the same ending sound. So, if you want to keep the theme:
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] &…
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Hollie[/name_f]
[name_u]Georgie[/name_u]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] best. congrats to you!
Congratulations! My fave would be [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] - [name_f]IMO[/name_f] it goes the best with the others names (all 3 firsts end with ‘ee’ sound, 2-syllable firsts, 1-syllable middles, etc).
Congratulations on your new girls! Disclaimer because I have a daughter named [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and if I’d had a second I would’ve named her [name_f]Freya[/name_f], so obviously I love your name choices!
With [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] I agree with pp that maybe you should choose a name with the same ‘ee’ sound at the end of the name. I also noticed that your current choices for the two babies have ‘tails’ the ‘y’ in [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and the ‘p’ in [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. It might be nice to choose a name that echoes that for the third girl. They may notice details like that when they start to write their names. You do list [name_f]Holly[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as names you like, but maybe that excludes [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] as the only non plant name?
I know twin girls called [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] which I think go very well together. And [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] with them is beautiful!
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] gets my vote! I think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] fits best with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], both stylistically and in sharing the “ee” ending sound. Congratulations mama.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] your list of names. Here are some of my favourite combos.
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_u]North[/name_u]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
Congrats on your triplets!! I love the name [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. It goes very well with the ee sound at the end. They’re all kind of opposites: [name_f]DaphnE[/name_f], [name_u]RubY[/name_u] and [name_f]ElsIE[/name_f]. For a middle name I like [name_f]Jade[/name_f], it goes with the colour theme ([name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]) I hope this helps x
