100% honesty on these names!

I have had the same names on my list for so long, but recently I have found some fresh favourites.

Girls:

[name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name]: I would never use them together since they are so similar. I think [name]Evelyn[/name] is a tad prettier though.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: I don’t know why but I am loving [name]Cricket[/name] as a nn for [name]Ivy[/name]. [name]Cricket[/name] has nothing to do with the name, except the fact that they are both nature names.
[name]Marian[/name]: Dated? Yes. But I have fallen in love with it!
[name]Kate[/name]: Didn’t used to like this name, it was “so plain and boring.” But now I really like it!
[name]Claire[/name]: The same as [name]Kate[/name].
[name]Aurelia[/name]: I love this with the nickname [name]Rory[/name], although [name]Aurora[/name] makes more sense with the nickname. [name]Aurelia[/name] is prettier and more cheerful to me.

[name]Robin[/name]: [name]Love[/name], [name]Love[/name] LOVING this! Yes, there is the whole “[name]Robin[/name] Hood” thing, but I would never name my kids [name]Robin[/name] and [name]Marian[/name].
[name]Archer[/name]: I hate [name]Hunter[/name], but love [name]Archer[/name]! (and [name]Arrow[/name] too)
[name]Reed[/name]: Another nature name, only in the middle.
[name]Blaine[/name]: I used to love [name]Sloane[/name] as a girls names, but it seemed a bit “dark” to me. [name]Blaine[/name] for a boy is a bit more cheerful.
[name]Asa[/name]: I just love the sound of this!

I want your honest opinions. If you hate the names, then tell me you hate them. I want your 100% true thoughts.

Thank you!

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

[name]Avalon[/name] - better in as a quirky mn

[name]Evelyn[/name]: [name]Evelyn[/name] is much better as a fn than [name]Avalon[/name]. It’s a classic but I knew two women of different cultures who worked in my office so it’s kind of common for me.

[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: I love the spunky [name]Ivy[/name] but I’m not feeling [name]Cricket[/name] as a nn.

[name]Marian[/name]: I like this spelling (a la Maid [name]Marian[/name]) more than [name]Marion[/name]. I like [name]Mary[/name] and [name]Maren[/name] as well.

[name]Kate[/name]: I prefer it in the middle spot or a nn for [name]Catherine[/name].

[name]Claire[/name]: Simple, short and sweet.

[name]Aurelia[/name]: I’m not usually a fan of overly frilly and ultra-feminine names but this one is an exception. It just rolls off the tongue! [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Kate[/name] would be lovely!

[name]Robin[/name]: I have a FEMALE cousin named [name]Robin[/name] so I can’t see this name on a boy.

[name]Archer[/name]: I’ve grown tired of this name because I see it so much here on Nameberry (eg. not the real world).

[name]Reed[/name]: I prefer the [name]Reid[/name] spelling. “[name]Reed[/name]-like” is what you call someone who is really skinny.

[name]Blaine[/name]: Ok but the name doesn’t thrill me.

[name]Asa[/name]: A strong, masculine Biblical gem! My fave on your boys list.

Avalon - like better as a MN, but I think it’s usable as a FN.
Evelyn - love it. Pronounced EHV-elyn or EE-velyn? I prefer the first, but Eve or Eva is a pretty nickname for the second.
Ivy - it’s alright. Don’t like Ivy Cricket though, I prefer to balance nature names with more classical names, two nature names can get a bit gimmicky.
Marian - I prefer it spelled Marion, and I don’t think it’s dated, I think it’s classic.
Kate - I like it as a nickname - I like it as a name too, but I know SO many Kates that it’s a bit bland.
Claire - I know fewer Claires, but I don’t like it as much as Kate.
Aurelia - I love the sound of it, but it might sound too fancy in real life. I like it better than Aurora too - very pretty, but a nightmare for people who have problems saying their Rs!

Robin - I like it! It’s familiar but I don’t actually run into many Robins. It has a nature association but it well-established so it doesn’t sound strange, and I like the Robin Hood reference, actually.
Archer - I thought it was NMS, but I’m growing to really like it. And Archie as a nickname is really cute.
Reed - As a MN, I like it. Not as a first.
Blaine - Don’t like the sound, sorry.
Asa - A bit odd, I definitely wasn’t sure how to say it the first time I saw it. Careful your fingers don’t slip when you’re typing. Also, names ending in A automatically lean feminine for me, so I have a hard time breaking from that association.

Also, I see August on your names list in your signature, and I love it! Indigo is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.

[name]Avalon[/name] is alright, doesn’t make me go ‘wow’ and that might be because I think she’ll end up called [name]Ava[/name] more often than not and it’s just so popular and overdone. I don’t particularly like the sound of the ‘lon’ ending either, I think something like [name]Adeline[/name] would be prettier.

[name]Evelyn[/name] has a slightly prettier sound than [name]Avalon[/name], and has the nicknames [name]Eve[/name], [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Evie[/name] available, which are more appealing than [name]Ava[/name]. I think [name]Evelyn[/name] makes a nicer middle name than first.

[name]Ivy[/name] is so sweet and fresh sounding, despite [name]Beyonce[/name]'s [name]Blue[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]. I do think it will grow in popularity but not rapidly so (I could be wrong!). [name]Cricket[/name] is the most adorable nickname ever, I’m seriously crushing on it too. Is it mean to say I’m happy one of my friends is going to use [name]Pippa[/name] [name]Violet[/name] as opposed to [name]Elora[/name] [name]Cricket[/name]? [name]Cricket[/name] is the cutest but it may struggle to get going when it has no relation to the name [name]Ivy[/name].

[name]Marian[/name] isn’t one I could picture on a child these days, and although we spend longer as adults I’d still want my child to fit at school and things with regards to their name. Save it for a middle name if you love it, maybe [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Marion[/name]?

I’m going to cover [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] in the same part of my post. I still think dull, boring and dated. I know lots of [name]Kate[/name]'s/[name]Claire[/name]'s and they are all over the age of 21 years. I couldn’t imagine them being used anymore in the UK.

[name]Aurelia[/name] is beautiful but I’m never sure if I have the correct pronunciation. I say it as Au-ray-lee-uh which sounds pretty to me but I don’t know if it’s right, lol.

Of the girl’s names my favourite is [name]Ivy[/name], followed by [name]Aurelia[/name].

[name]Robin[/name] is handsome on a boy, but dated on a girl so it makes me happier to see it on your boy’s list. I’d never use it but I’d be happy to meet a male [name]Robin[/name]. I prefer [name]Robin[/name] on a boy to [name]Marion[/name] on a girl.

[name]Archer[/name] is lovely, but it’s very trendy and that doesn’t really seem your style. [name]Archie[/name] is really over done in the UK too.

[name]Reed[/name] is handsome, but I struggle to picture it on anyone as it’s unknown here in the UK.

[name]Blaine[/name] is cool, and I like that it’s different.

[name]Asa[/name] is by far my favourite boy’s name on your list. It’s gorgeous and underused.

[name]Avalon[/name]: I really like the mythological connection, and it sounds pretty, but I’m not a huge fan of place names. [name]Avalon[/name] on [name]Catalina[/name] Island is beautiful though.
[name]Evelyn[/name]: I think I like [name]Evelyn[/name] better too. It’s a name. And it is a good one.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: Well, you could nickname a baby [name]Cricket[/name] no matter what. [name]Ivy[/name] is a delightful name. Beautiful.
[name]Marian[/name]: Yeah, I just say Dated Dated Dated. I do like the [name]Music[/name] [name]Man[/name] Though. I prefer [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Kate[/name]: This is my name and I love love love it. I think everyone should have such a strong, feminine, can-do, ageless and timeless name.
[name]Claire[/name]: [name]Claire[/name] is a name just like [name]Kate[/name]! Great meaning, history, gorgeous sound, ageless, timeless, slightly less strong or spunky, but great.
[name]Aurelia[/name]: It’s definitely pretty, but it makes me think of baseball player [name]Rich[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name].

[name]Robin[/name]: [name]Love[/name] this name. It’s a great sensitive yet manly name for a boy. The [name]Robin[/name] Hood connection legitimizes it for boys. SO much better than [name]Robert[/name]
[name]Archer[/name]: I’m starting to like [name]Fletcher[/name] better than [name]Archer[/name]. [name]Archer[/name] is nice, but an obvious occupation name. [name]Fletcher[/name] is less obvious.
[name]Reed[/name]: Not my favorite nature name. [name]Just[/name] so short and kind of clunky.
[name]Blaine[/name]: [name]Love[/name]! So handsome and it has a lot of history even though it sounds really modern.
[name]Asa[/name]: I have a negative connotation for this name. I think maybe [name]Asa[/name] in the Bible is a bad character.

[name]Avalon[/name] - I think it’s a lovely sound, but since it’s so unfamiliar, I’d use it as a middle
[name]Evelyn[/name] - love it! one of my favorites
[name]Ivy[/name] - I really like [name]Ivy[/name], but [name]Cricket[/name] is a little silly imo. If I met someone who said their name was [name]Cricket[/name] I’d ask if they were serious.
[name]Marian[/name] - don’t like it, but it’s my sister’s mother-in-law’s name
[name]Kate[/name] - it’s really cute, though it is rather plain. But then I love [name]Jane[/name] as well
[name]Claire[/name] - I actually think this is more interesting that [name]Kate[/name], and I really love [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Clarity[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] - looks like aureola to me…bleh

[name]Robin[/name] - I do like it, though I know more female [name]Robin[/name]'s than male. I do like the option of [name]Rob[/name] and even [name]Ben[/name] as nn’s
[name]Archer[/name] - don’t hate it, but very trendy sounding, I prefer [name]Asher[/name]
[name]Reed[/name] - actually really love this one! one of my favorite middles
[name]Blaine[/name] - gotta say I hate this one. reminds me of Blank, blah, plain
[name]Asa[/name] - i just don’t love the sound

[name]Avalon[/name] - I think this is really pretty, and I love Arthurian legends. If you’re uncertain about the place name thing, maybe Avaron (Japanese) or Avenel, Avelyn, Avelina ([name]Evelyn[/name] derives from this)?
[name]Evelyn[/name] - [name]Evelyn[/name] is gorgeous and special.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]” - I love [name]Ivy[/name], and I think [name]Cricket[/name] is a darling nickname if it suits the little girl.
[name]Marian[/name] - Ooh I love [name]Marian[/name]. I am a huge [name]Robin[/name] Hood fan! [name]Marion[/name] is beautiful as well.
[name]Kate[/name] - I do like [name]Kate[/name]! [name]Kate[/name] [name]Bush[/name], [name]Kate[/name] [name]Moss[/name], [name]Kate[/name] [name]Winslet[/name]… [name]Lovely[/name] little name.
[name]Claire[/name] - This is stunning.
[name]Aurelia[/name] - There is something about [name]Aurelia[/name] I’m not sure I like, it’s weird cause I love [name]Aurelian[/name]. But I do think it’s a very pretty name, and I love the meaning.

[name]Robin[/name] - [name]One[/name] of my absolute favourite boy names. [name]Robin[/name] is also a very very cute little bird.
[name]Archer[/name] - I like this, not as a first name though.
[name]Reed[/name] - same as above.
[name]Blaine[/name] - Handsome, very boarding school.
[name]Asa[/name] - Cool and bookish. I love [name]Asa[/name], it’s fun!

My favourites; [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Robin[/name] ([name]Evelyn[/name] & [name]Asa[/name]).

From your girls list I [name]Love[/name]: [name]Avalon[/name]
Like: [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Aurelia[/name], [name]Ivy[/name]
Dislike: [name]Kate[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Marian[/name]
From you boys list I [name]Love[/name]: [name]Robin[/name], [name]Reed[/name]
Dislike: [name]Asa[/name], [name]Blaine[/name] (These names, for me, are much too soft to be boys names.)
I really dislike [name]Archer[/name]. I don’t like the ‘professions’ naming trend.

Girls:

[name]Avalon[/name] - love for both genders
[name]Evelyn[/name]: only on a boy for me, though I know a cute little girl named this
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: love [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Cricket[/name] but not as a nickname for [name]Ivy[/name], Why not just name her [name]Cricket[/name]?
[name]Marian[/name]: it’s cute
[name]Kate[/name]: Dnever liked this
[name]Claire[/name]: Cute
[name]Aurelia[/name]: NMS

[name]Robin[/name]: [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] on a boy! "It’s on my list too.
[name]Archer[/name]: dislike
[name]Reed[/name]: nice prefer on a girl
[name]Blaine[/name]: dislike
[name]Asa[/name]: cute but I wouldn’t use it

[name]Avalon[/name]: [name]One[/name] of my absolute favourites, it’s special without being tacky.
[name]Evelyn[/name]: Such a pretty name, also on my list of favourite names.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: I’m not fond of [name]Ivy[/name], however I do love [name]Cricket[/name] as a nickname.
[name]Marian[/name]: Prefer [name]Marion[/name], but [name]Marian[/name] is a beautiful name too. [name]Marian[/name] makes me think of [name]Robin[/name] Hood
[name]Kate[/name]: Prefer it as a middle name for [name]Katharine[/name].
[name]Claire[/name]: Adorable name, it’s simple and sweet.
[name]Aurelia[/name]: I don’t like it as a first name, but prefer it as a middle name. Also, I’m not usually the one for double names, but [name]Maria[/name]-[name]Aurelia[/name] sounds so sweet.

[name]Robin[/name]: I like [name]Robin[/name] on a boy (I was supposed to be named [name]Robin[/name] and it doesn’t go on girls [name]IMO[/name]).
[name]Archer[/name]: Prefer the old-fashioned [name]Archibald[/name], but [name]Archie[/name] is a cute nickname for [name]Archer[/name].
[name]Reed[/name]: [name]Don[/name]'t like it very much.
[name]Blaine[/name]: Makes me think of Glee, not fond of this one either (neither am I particularly fond of Glee).
[name]Asa[/name]: [name]One[/name] of my favourite boys names, the only thing I can put on it is that it is so short that there isn’t any real nicknames for it.

[name]Avalon[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name]: I would never use them together since they are so similar. I think [name]Evelyn[/name] is a tad prettier though.- I agree. I much prefer [name]Evelyn[/name]. I’ve never liked [name]Avalon[/name] but could never really figure out why.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: You can use Cricked as a nickname for anything on this list- I don’t expect she’d ever introduce herself as [name]Cricket[/name], and you already know [name]Ivy[/name] has nothing to do with it, so if you like [name]Cricket[/name] as a nickname just use it. But I may be swayed by the fact that I hate [name]Ivy[/name]- Poison [name]Ivy[/name], I.V. (as in intravenous) and the ugly (in my opinion) long i sound make it very unappealing to me.
[name]Marian[/name]: I like [name]Marian[/name]! It is dated, but I like it anyway.
[name]Kate[/name]: Usually I say go with the full name, and I personally would pick [name]Katherine[/name] nn [name]Kate[/name], but I think [name]Kate[/name] can stand on its own. It’s very mature and classic sounding; it doesn’t retain the childishness that many nicknames have.
[name]Claire[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Aurelia[/name]: I don’t like using [name]Rory[/name] as a nickname for [name]Aurelia[/name], but I do love [name]Aurelia[/name] and I like [name]Rory[/name]. I especially like the Italian pronunciation where the “e” is pronounced somewhere between a long “a” and a short “e.” I’m surprised [name]Aurelia[/name] doesn’t rank- it’s so beautiful I would think it would appeal to tons of people!

[name]Robin[/name]: If it’s for a boy, I think it should be a nn for [name]Robert[/name].
[name]Archer[/name]: I hate [name]Hunter[/name], but love [name]Archer[/name]! (and [name]Arrow[/name] too) - TOTALLY agree with you on the [name]Hunter[/name] thing, and I love this too.
[name]Reed[/name]: No strong feelings for me on [name]Reed[/name].
[name]Blaine[/name]: I used to love [name]Sloane[/name] as a girls names, but it seemed a bit “dark” to me. [name]Blaine[/name] for a boy is a bit more cheerful.- that’s so weird that you mentioned that because I get that dark feeling from [name]Blaine[/name]. I have no idea why but it sounds ominous to me. Maybe it’s similarity to [name]Blair[/name]? I don’t know. But I do love [name]Blaise[/name], which is similar but in my opinion a lot better.
[name]Asa[/name]: I think it sounds very feminine. I don’t think it would necessarily be good on a girl, but I think it’s too close to [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Ada[/name] to use.

Thank you everyone! Keep them coming! I love hearing other people’s opinions!

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

Girls, I love: [name]Kate[/name], [name]Aurelia[/name], and [name]Ivy[/name] to some extent.

Boys, I love: [name]Robin[/name], [name]Asa[/name], [name]Reed[/name].

[name]Blaine[/name] sounds super whiny to me, [name]Archer[/name] is just boring.
[name]Claire[/name] is boring, and over done imo. I hear it so much mentioned that it’s just lost all spark. [name]Avalon[/name] is too…eh. [name]Marian[/name] sounds depressing, and [name]Evelyn[/name] I like but it’s not as “bright” as I’d like.

I definitely do not like the nickname [name]Cricket[/name], sorry.

Avalon - I think with a more classical middle name, it would be spectacular
Evelyn: reminds me of [name]Sister[/name] Evelyn from The Fall. [name]Even[/name] with the reference, I still see it as the girl they forget to invite to the party
IvyCricket”: I’d stay with the Cricket nn, but even though Ivy is two syllables, I think it’s to short as a fn
Marian: [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name]
Kate: I like, but I can see people assigning Katie to it
Claire: First thing that came to mind was Claire Bear! So cute!
Aurelia: Back in the day, there was a Aurelia and Ariella (me) in hebrew school together. All of the people who worked at the school pronounced our names the same. I think Aurora works better with nn Rory, but Aurelia does pack more of a punch.

Robin: I’m a little bias with this one because it’s my aunt’s name, and we don’t get along
Archer: much better than Hunter, but what you said for Robin and Marian should apply to Archer as well
Reed: don’t like as a first, much better as a mn
Blaine: It’s okay, but it seems eh. Though maybe the fact that I had no associations towards it is a good thing . . .
Asa: I’ve got a thing for a ending boy names, and this one may be one of my faves! Of your boys list, it is my fave.

[name]Avalon[/name]: [name]One[/name] of my favorite “[name]Ava[/name]” names. Sounds romantic and medieval.
[name]Evelyn[/name]: I have a co-worker named [name]Evelyn[/name] who is in her 50s, but I have always liked her name. I think it classic and elegant.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: I like [name]Ivy[/name]. [name]Cricket[/name] makes a cute nickname.
[name]Marian[/name]: Nothing wrong with it. Prefer [name]Miriam[/name].
[name]Kate[/name]: I like it a lot.
[name]Claire[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. Prefer [name]Clara[/name] though.
[name]Aurelia[/name]: Where I live [name]Aurel[/name] is a common middle aged man’s name, and although [name]Aurelia[/name] is less common, it still comes across as very middle aged and plain. In fact, we have pedophile in our town named [name]Aurel[/name]. Ruined both names for me forever.

[name]Robin[/name]: I prefer [name]Robin[/name] on a girl, but it works on a boy just as well.
[name]Archer[/name]: I like it.
[name]Reed[/name]: Seems lacking.
[name]Blaine[/name]: I hate most names with the “Blai” in it. Not sure why. I don’t like [name]Blaire[/name], [name]Blaine[/name] or [name]Blaise[/name].
[name]Asa[/name]: Meh. I like the meaning.

[name]Avalon[/name] - sounds like either a sci-fi or a midieval character, not sure which. NMS.
[name]Evelyn[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]. I’d consider this name if I were to have another girl.
[name]Ivy[/name] - Very Pretty. I’m not sure why you’d choose “[name]Cricket[/name]” as a nn specifically for [name]Ivy[/name], though.
[name]Marian[/name] - Too 1950’s or [name]Robin[/name] Hood, or something. Not fond of it. I have nothing against [name]Robin[/name] Hood, though. [name]Love[/name] the story.
[name]Kate[/name] - Short, sweet, and classic. I like it. I could unfortunately never use it, because it does NOT work with my last name.
[name]Claire[/name] - It’s cute - for someone else’s kid. I’m not that fond of it for some reason, but I don’t have anything against it, either.
Aureila - This is one of those names that everyone thinks is SO pretty, but it’s totally NMS. I just don’t care for it.

[name]Robin[/name] - I think of it more as a girl’s name, but it’s NMS.
[name]Archer[/name] - [name]Robin[/name] Hood? But that’s not why I wouldn’t use it. Reminds me of the [name]Archer[/name] Farms brand at Target!
[name]Reed[/name] - I like it. I prefer the spelling [name]Reid[/name], though.
[name]Blaine[/name] - I also like it. Very preppy. (and it reminds me of Glee, too - but I like Glee!)
[name]Asa[/name] - meh, NMS.

[name]Avalon[/name] - It’s ok. A nice spin on the popular [name]Ava[/name], but really NMS.
[name]Evelyn[/name] - I do like [name]Evelyn[/name] more. It’s a nice name, but again NMS.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]” - I do think that’s an odd association. [name]Ivy[/name]'s a fine name. I’d much rather you nickname her [name]Cricket[/name] than actually name her that though
[name]Marian[/name] - I think this is one of those “old but new” sort of names. I like it.
[name]Kate[/name] - A little too simple for me. I like [name]Katherine[/name] nn [name]Kate[/name] because I tend to lean toward longer “formal” names.
[name]Claire[/name] - I really like this name!
[name]Aurelia[/name] - I wouldn’t get [name]Rory[/name] from this and I would be a little confused by the nickname (though I think I saw a [name]Thomas[/name] nn [name]Ted[/name] today… that was weird). I don’t really like this name either way.

[name]Robin[/name] - It’s ok. I just slightly prefer it on a girl (I think that’s HIMYM rubbing off on me, lol).
[name]Archer[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t like.
[name]Reed[/name] - I like it, and I think it makes a great middle name!
[name]Blaine[/name] - It’s just ok.
[name]Asa[/name] - Meh. Something about it I don’t like, but I can’t place it…

[name]Avalon[/name]: Reminds me of [name]King[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] and fables. I [name]LOVE[/name] it as a middle name! But prefer [name]Evelyn[/name]!
[name]Evelyn[/name]: Very prety! Loads of nicknames and ages really well.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]”: I prefer [name]Ivy[/name] as a nickname for [name]Victoria[/name] as it adds length and history. I do like [name]Ivy[/name] though, even as a stand alone. The nn. [name]Cricket[/name] is very cute!!!
[name]Marian[/name]: I prefer [name]Maureen[/name], but I prer [name]Marian[/name] spelling over [name]Marion[/name].
[name]Kate[/name]: Prefer it as a nickname for [name]Katharine[/name].
[name]Claire[/name]: Adorable name. Prefer it as middle
[name]Aurelia[/name]: Very beautiful! Lots of nicknames and wonderful meaning?

[name]Robin[/name]: I like [name]Robin[/name] on a boy.
[name]Archer[/name]: Prefer [name]Archibald[/name].
[name]Reed[/name]. Prefer [name]Reid[/name].
[name]Blaine[/name]: Glee. No.
[name]Asa[/name]: Prefer as nn. for Aslan or [name]Atlas[/name] or something longer as it feels too short and perhaps cruel if mispelled.

GIRLS
[name]Avalon[/name] ~ Interesting way to get to the beautiful nickname of [name]Ava[/name]. I think this could work!
[name]Evelyn[/name] ~ Absolutely love it! Could have the sweet [name]Evie[/name] as a nickname.
[name]Ivy[/name] “[name]Cricket[/name]” ~ I love [name]Ivy[/name] but not sure on [name]Cricket[/name] as a nickname for it. I think [name]Cricket[/name] could be sweet though.
[name]Marian[/name] ~ Dislike this. [name]Just[/name] not a nice sound.
[name]Kate[/name] ~ Too plain! Would personally go with [name]Kathryn[/name], and then nickname her [name]Katie[/name] rather than [name]Kate[/name].
[name]Claire[/name] ~ Plain but could be pretty in the middle name spot.
[name]Aurelia[/name] ~ I agree with you, [name]Aurelia[/name] has more ‘life’ to it than [name]Aurora[/name]. Plus, [name]Aurora[/name] is a bit of a mouthful! [name]Rory[/name] could be a nickname.

BOYS
[name]Robin[/name] ~ Dislike this, I just don’t think it’s masculine enough.
[name]Archer[/name] ~ I wouldn’t want my son associated with anything violent.
[name]Reed[/name] ~ Boring and just not nice.
[name]Blaine[/name] ~ Really dislike this! Not a nice sound.
[name]Asa[/name] ~ Not sure how to pronounce this, and I think it’s too short.

FAVOURITES
Girl: [name]Evelyn[/name] “[name]Evie[/name]”
Boy: [name]Asa[/name]

From me you get a blanket Eh… Nothing stands out… I am not in love with any of them… I dislike a few… I am not wowed
