1940-1950's Girls Names- Help me choose a character's name!

I’m writing a play and cannot figure out what name to name my character. My character is a female high schooler from the 1950’s who is a good girl and is seventeen years old. She has dirty blonde hair and is tall and thin. She loves fashion and is always very polite. In the play she has a boyfriend and she loves going to school dances. Also my character is always happy and is nice to everyone.
