32 weeks and still so undecided!

Hello All! I’m in need of help! I am 32 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and I have a list of names but nothing that is standing out to me. I don’t have a particular taste, it seems like I like all girl names-vintage, unisex, modern, etc. like I said ALL girl names. This makes deciding so hard! My husband has three favorites [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] and [name_f]Faith[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] but he can surprise me and suggest a name like [name_f]Iris[/name_f].

I would really like to hear all your naming ides so the only guide I can give is that I already have a son named [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and I would really like to use [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] as the middle name (family name for both myself and hubby). I would also like to stay away from the top 10 (top 50 if possible) .

I appreciated any help!

Take the names you like most and say them out loud as if you’re introducing her. “These are our children [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and ___”. Sometimes saying the name aloud has a different feeling than saying it in your head. [name_f]Do[/name_f] the Starbucks test. Order something, say your name is whatever name you are considering for the baby. Evaluate how it feels when you hear it said aloud by somebody else. Listen to see if there are pronunciation issues, check out how you feel when you see it written down on the cup. [name_f]Imagine[/name_f] your daughter in a variety of adult life situations: a college application, a resume, receiving her diploma, written on a wedding invitation, which one jumps our at you. And finally, do the occupation test. Could your daughter be a CEO, an accountant, a lawyer, an artist, a teacher or a professional athlete or dancer and still fare well with that name. If all those tests apply, then you have found THE name. Good luck deciding!

From your husbands names, I would love to see [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is also lovely.

Thank you everyone! We are taking [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] and [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] to the hospital. We’ll name her when we met her
