With a week and change to spare, we’ve still got a pool of 3 names to choose from. They are: [name]Elijah[/name] ([name]Eli[/name]), [name]Asher[/name] & [name]Gideon[/name]. His older brothers are [name]Micah[/name], [name]Jonah[/name] & [name]Gabriel[/name] (who goes by [name]Gabe[/name]). Whatdya think? ![]()
[name]Love[/name] them all, but I’d go with [name]Asher[/name].
[name]Elijah[/name] seems to be getting quite popular and having another ah-ending name might make [name]Gabe[/name] the odd man out.
I love [name]Gideon[/name], and I think it’s very distinctive, but it might be just a little bit too unique next to your other son’s slightly more mainstream names. Also, you would then have two G-names, rather than each boy having his own initial.
You can’t go wrong though; they’re all great names!
I love [name]Gideon[/name] and [name]Asher[/name] with the nickname [name]Ash[/name]. Another biblical name I really like is [name]Hanan[/name], pronounced like [name]Cannon[/name]. It’s from the old testament. [name]Ezra[/name] is another favorite.
I agree”[name]Asher[/name] or [name]Gideon[/name] would be great. [name]Elijah[/name] is a great name, but that would be three -a endings. What about just [name]Eli[/name] as his given name?
I think that [name]Asher[/name] works best with his brothers out of the three. [name]Gideon[/name] would give you two ‘G’ names, and [name]Elijah[/name] three -ah endings.
Maybe I should mention that my daughter is named [name]Autumn[/name], so I don’t know that repeating initials is really a factor ([name]Asher[/name] would make 2 A’s, just as [name]Gideon[/name] would make 2 G’s).
[name]Micah[/name]
[name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name]
and [name]Asher[/name] a great name!
I like [name]Elijah[/name]
Other biblical names I like are;
[name]Reuben[/name]
[name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name]
[name]Luke[/name]
[name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Daniel[/name]
[name]Isaiah[/name]
[name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Benjamin[/name]
and [name]Zachary[/name]
I like [name]Asher[/name] the best with the others.
[name]Micah[/name], [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], and [name]Elijah[/name] I’m not a fan of due to the three names ending in -ah.
[name]Micah[/name], [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], and [name]Gideon[/name] just feels off to me.
I like [name]Eli[/name]. I think he would struggle with [name]Gideon[/name]. It’s a bit awkward.
My husband’s name is [name]Simeon[/name] and he goes by [name]Sim[/name]. I think it would fit nicely as well.
My first pick would be [name]Elijah[/name]… second would be [name]Asher[/name].
I love [name]Asher[/name] the most with his brothers’ names. [name]Gideon[/name] is cool, but then you would have two names that start with “G”. Together they are kind of singsong-y. [name]Eli[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name] sound a lot like [name]Micah[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name]. [name]Asher[/name] sounds different than the other three, but it keeps the biblical theme going. [name]Love[/name] it!
