4th of July Boy

[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out that my baby boy will be born via C-section on 4th of [name_u]July[/name_u] if my condition remains stable.

I am American living in the UK married to an Italian so while I smile thinking what a fun birthday theme to have, I also need to be realistic. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] will have 3 passports. :us: :uk: :it:

The name we chose for our son so far is

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m]

Would you just go with that, or switch part of it to make it more “4th of July/American”?

I think [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is darling!!

[name_f]My[/name_f] brother was born on fourth of [name_u]July[/name_u], and my parents didn’t change his name for the theme. However, every year we’d do 4th themed b-day parties and tell him the fireworks were for him!

Truthfully, I think your chosen name is perfect as-is, and doesn’t need anything more :green_heart:

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is lovely!

I’d keep it as is. A holiday connection could be fun, but as you’re living in the UK, realistically it might not really matter. You’ve got such a great option already!

I love his name already! I don’t think you need to change it, but if you wanted to, [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_u]Julian[/name_u] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] would be cute too!

I think [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is great, would’t change a thing!

That’s a great name but I love a theme. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_u]Philadelphia[/name_u]?

Congrats!! I love his name as is

If he ends up living outside of the US for most of his life, I’m sure he’d want to visit the US on his birthday! It would be a giant celebration already established :tada: So fun! I had an elementary school friend with that birthday, and she thought the fireworks were for her when she was young

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is a beautiful name!

[name_f]My[/name_f] son was due in [name_u]August[/name_u], but I went into labor on the 4th of [name_u]July[/name_u]. If he’d been born on the 4th, we were going to name him [name_u]George[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u].

He says he is very glad he was born on [name_u]July[/name_u] 9th as [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m].

I’d stick with what you’ve got since [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is nice. Couldn’t [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] sort of work, as a nod to [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Roosevelt[/name_m]?

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] as in “Uncle Sam” would be a subtle fun nod to his American roots

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is beyond gorgeous and I would keep as his name is! Maybe do a themed birthday party for him in the future that would be sweet but aside from that I would make his name more themed to match his birthday.

Wishing you all the best :blue_heart:

You’ve chosen a good name though I also love the suggestion above of making [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] the middle name (as in Uncle [name_u]Sam[/name_u] :us:) - great name, personally prefer it to [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Martin[/name_m] though those are nice names too.
