Hi there, I hope I can get some clarity for naming our little boy who is almost 7 weeks old now.
Euan or Innes?
Thanks in advance!

[name_m]Innes[/name_m] is lovely. Choose that - he needs a name!
I love [name_m]Innes[/name_m]! But I really do like [name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Barnes[/name_m], and I don’t think it’ll be too common where you live now. Spend some time calling him [name_m]Innes[/name_m] to see how it feels, though it sounds like [name_m]Euan[/name_m] might already be sticking.
[name_m]Innes[/name_m] is great
I much prefer [name_m]Euan[/name_m]! [name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Barnes[/name_m] is a great combo.
I find myself saying this sentence out loud ‘can you please grab [name_m]Innes[/name_m]‘s shoes’… and I can’t say I favour the double s’ sound. I much prefer [name_m]Euan[/name_m]'s but thats just me, this perhaps doesn’t bother you in the slightest. GL, take your time to feel you’ve got it right. [name_m]Say[/name_m] the names out loud as often as you can and go with what fits. They change so much in the first year so will grow into their name.
Thanks for the reply so far, [name_m]Euan[/name_m] does seem to flow better to Mr even though I am very fond of [name_m]Innes[/name_m]. It’s nice to remember that at the end of the day the name that feels easier will probably be it, and it will grow with him anyway. [name_f]Tine[/name_f] to stop procrastinating and name this boy!
I love [name_m]Euan[/name_m]!! [name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Barnes[/name_m] is very handsome.
I can’t make a decision either and love both of them. I’m really only responding to assure you that it is a win-win and that which ever one you choose will be a great name for your little guy. Congratulations!
I vote for [name_m]Euan[/name_m]. [name_m]Innes[/name_m] looks very girly to me due to its similarity to [name_f]Ines[/name_f] and [name_f]Inessa[/name_f].
