7th Heaven's Beverly Mitchell and husband Michael Cameron welcome a daughter!

They chose the name [name]Kenzie[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] [name]Cameron[/name].

Well, that’s… kinda boring.

I have to agree with Zippy, when I saw the name [name]Kenzie[/name] it made me cringe. I expected something a lot better than ‘[name]Kenzie[/name]’. [name]Lynn[/name] doesn’t do anything for me either. It might be a bit different if the child was named [name]Mackenzie[/name], and chose to go by [name]Kenzie[/name] as a nickname. However, I just don’t see [name]Kenzie[/name] as an actual name. But congratulations to the two. I do like the flow of [name]Kenzie[/name] [name]Cameron[/name]… it sounds sweet and sassy, and has a nice ring to it.

I’m shocked when anyone chooses to name their daughter [name]Mackenzie[/name] or any form of it… let alone a celebrity. Not a fan.

[name]Kinda[/name] disappointed. Also, I have this weird thing against first and last names that start with the same sound, but different letters. A K first name with a hard C last name just bugs me.

I was so disappointed when I heard the name of their daughter. It’s so plain and boring. I can’t see an 80 year old named [name]Kenzie[/name].

That’s underwhelming.

It’s very average, but I do like [name]Kenzie[/name] [name]Cameron[/name], and the nn of K.C.

Finally a celebrity that gave their child a normal name. Why does it always have to be so creative and different these days? What´s wrong with a “real” name? (By real name I just want to exclude new invented names like [name]Neveah[/name], … ; I know everybody has a different naming style and I do not mean to offend anyone.) Although I do have to agree that I prefer a longer version of the name [name]Kenzie[/name], [name]Mackenzie[/name]. They could always have called her [name]Kenzie[/name] as a nn.

I would argue that [name]Kenzie[/name] is a new invented name. That’s exactly what’s disappointing about it. I don’t think any of us are saying they should have named the baby [name]Moon[/name] Unit. But Mom and Dad both have strong classic names. I just wish they would have pick something with a little more history. My opinion would be the same even if they weren’t celebrities.
