So this started out as a joke. While trying out names early on my husband would counter with a ridiculous name whenever I suggested something he didn’t like. At one point he said [name_m]Hawk[/name_m], and kept at it for a week. Since I didn’t like thinking of baby as “it”, I started referring to him as [name_u]Baby[/name_u] [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] as a joke. The name stuck. We are now 10 weeks away and still struggling with a name. We, along with our families, have been calling him [name_m]Hawk[/name_m], and now consider it somewhat normal. However, I go back and forth between thinking it’s cool, and thinking we are crazy! Our last name is Mueggenburg (a mouthful, I know!). We have a few other names on our list: [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], and [name_m]Colton[/name_m], and would probably use [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] as a middle name if we choose one of those. So I’m looking for opinions!! Is [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] (or possibly Hawke) a good name- or are we getting too ‘out there’? Thanks in advance!!
I totally like it! ([name_u]Tony[/name_u] Romo just used it…)
You could probably almost guarantee that no other person will ever have his name!!
If you fall back on any of your other options I think you will have a winner as well. I love all of those as well! We have very similar naming styles!
Good luck!
I really love [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] as a middle name, but I don’t think it works for a grown mans first name. I really love it as a middle with your other choices, especially [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_m]Hawk[/name_m].
I know a baby named [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and a baby named [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]. At first some people where like what the heck but now it seems normal to all who know these babies. If [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] feels right do it!
[name_m]Hawk[/name_m] is a good name, I love it. [name_m]Even[/name_m] as a first name. But if you want it as a middle name, [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] and [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] have my vote.
I really like [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] as a nickname for the first name [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]/[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m].
I don’t think [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] is completely unwearable though with names like [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] on the rise.
[name_m]Hawk[/name_m] is a cool name!
I really like [name_m]Hawk[/name_m]!
If you went with [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_m]Hawk[/name_m], do be aware there is an actual [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] called [name_m]Cooper[/name_m]'s [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] Cooper's Hawk Identification, All About Birds, Cornell Lab of Ornithology
I’m a fan. If you wanted a longer name, I think [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]/[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m], Hawkins, and Hawking work. And yes, please be aware there is a species of hawk called a [name_m]Cooper[/name_m]'s [name_m]Hawk[/name_m]. There are a bunch of them where I live.
We did actually know that.
Didn’t figure too many people would tho!
it’s a very common species of [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] in [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u]!
